Fiorella Baldisserri is an Italy-based freelance photographer whose
work investigates the relationship between place, identity, and
lived experience. With a background in classical studies and
photojournalism, she develops long-term projects rooted in time,
immersion, and human connection.
Her practice is closely linked to sustainability and environmental
awareness, focusing on social and cultural contexts often
overlooked by mainstream narratives. Travel functions as a
research method, allowing her to engage with communities,
observe daily rituals, and build visual stories based on exchange
and proximity.
Her work has been published by several international and national
media outlets, including Stern, Eltern, Doppelpunk, L’Inkiesta,
Elle, Il Fotografo, and Gente di Fotografia. She has exhibited
extensively in Italy and abroad and has received numerous
international photography awards. One of her projects was
selected for Cortona On The Move.
