Magnum Foundation, Magnum Photos, and the Inge Morath Estate are pleased to announce Somaya Abdelrahman as the recipient of this year’s Inge Morath Award. Abdelrahman will receive a $7,500 production grant to support the completion of her project, Tired Souls Seeking Home. This year’s finalist, Mariam Giunashvili, will receive a $1,000 grant in support of her project.

That’s the focus of AAP Magazine #51: Colors, the upcoming themed issue from All About Photo, which invites photographers from around the world to submit their most compelling color-based work.

Street Macadam has announced the winners of the 2nd edition of the Macadam Awards, an international street and documentary photography competition open to photographers around the world. Held from May 1 to June 30, 2025, the contest invited both amateur and professional photographers aged 18 and over to submit their best color or black-and-white street images. The results were revealed on Monday, July 8, 2025, following the deliberation of an international jury of respected photographers and curators.

2025 marks the 40th anniversary of the Association of Photographers’ (AOP) Student Awards on show at Free Range, the graduate showcase of creative arts at London’s Truman Brewery from 11 - 13 July 2025. This year’s core themes reflect a strong sense of the surreal with provocative and playful subject matter displayed in the submitted images. The Awards reflects the AOP’s continuing commitment to shining a light on the next generation of photographers and image makers.
