Framing Stores: Alabama

Our Promise The Framin' Shoppes were founded in 1972 with a goal of having a higher quality of products and an improved level of service in picture framing in the Birmingham area. The four stores are owned and operated by Rich and Linda Bartholme. Rich has been involved since day one while Linda has recently joined after retiring from teaching in the Vestavia school system. The concept of the Framin' Shoppe has always been to purchase the best quality products and the best possible prices and pass those right on to our customers. To achieve this, Rich and Linda locate and purchase moulding and other products both domestically and abroad from exotic places such as Italy, Ireland, Taiwan, China, and Indonesia. They are also members of the National Distributors Network which gives the company the buying of power of a national corporation. This also keeps the Framin' Shoppe competitive with all of the national chains in the indusry.

Over the past 40 years the biggest question we have been asked is "Is there really a difference between custom picture framing and purchasing a "standard" size, store-bought frame from a department or craft store." There is a big difference, and it matters greatly,
