Nurse by profession, I discovered photography by chance a little over a decade ago and since then I have dedicated part of my free time to taking photos. Self-taught, I conceive photography as an instrument to create, tell and transmit, but above all to feel. I do not follow norms or rules, and I confess to being more interested in suggesting than in the photographic technique itself. There's something nostalgic and beautiful about decadence, and maybe that's why almost all of my shots end up having a certain decadent feel to them. I have no idea why I make the images I make, I guess we look with a camera as we are, or one day we were. My photos are simply a visual diary, they show what I see, and how I felt. Photography allows me to return to that childlike curiosity, which makes me want to explore not only in the world, but within myself. When they ask me what I want to express with my photos or my way of creating them, the answer is simple: Provoke, simply provoke some sensation. A few years ago I decided to show my images on social networks, opening up a range of opportunities to disseminate my work, but if I have to choose a medium where I can express myself through photography, it is the photobook. Being able to create a visual narrative, with a set of photos between sheets of paper inside a book, has been a wonderful experience, yes, I confess, photobooks have me fascinated. On many occasions I don't know why some of the images I make exist. And honestly, I don't care to know.

Reynout Dekimpe (Bruges, 1991) graduated as an actor at Luca school of arts. He created his own theatre company ‘RAF’ for which he writes his own plays. Next to acting and writing, creating worlds in miniature is his lifelong passion. Dekimpe's unique blend of artistic talents has led to the development of immersive experiences that blur the lines between theatre, film, and fine arts.
Robbe Maes (Leuven, 1990) graduated as a filmmaker at the same school. He has directed several shortfilms and music videos. He his known for his playful and creative style that explores the boundaries of imagination.
After meeting on a few filmsets, both artists moved to Antwerp in 2016 where the shared a house together. "Nr7" became their artistic playground for making miniature models and filming them in a darkened kitchen. During that period, they developed their unique style, which is characterized by handmade models as a central theme for cinematographic experiences. In january 2024, their first solo expo "Welcome to Fieldkapelle" premièred at the Rotterdam Photo festival, displaying several scalemodels and their accompanying photographs. Soon after they were awarded as "shortlist" artist for the Belfast photo festival and "longlist artist" for the Aesthetica Art price. Their current expo is now on display in the city center of Bruges.

I’m a mostly film based photographer. Of all sizes and formats from 35mm to Ultra Large Format. Mainly black and white but dabbling with colour. During the height of COVID I spent a considerable amount of time embracing Trichrome photography, the art of making colour images from black and white film. I coined a phrase “Colour from Movement” after falling in love with the psychedelic colours that can be induced from using Pinhole cameras and several minute long exposures with subjects that are in motion.

Julia Nathanson earned a degree in psychology from McGill University in 1996. She then went on to develop her visual skills at the New York Film Academy. Later, she began to explore street and urban-style landscape photography. She has since been published in Hipstography, The App Whisperer, and National Geographic. Her awards include Hipstography’s Street Series of the Year, the Mobile Photo Grand Prize at PhotoIndependent and a special award by acclaimed photographer Ben Watts for her series "In the Lane." Her prints adorn the walls of several private collectors and have been exhibited throughout North America and Europe. When not shooting, she manages to feed and clothe her two girls (who also happen to be unpaid models.) Julia lives and works in Toronto.

My name is Mariana Basurto. I was born in Mexico City and I'm passionate about exploring the world with my camera in hand. My photography seeks to invade the intimacy of the streets, to extract and represent the magic that is perceived in everyday life and show the world from my eyes. Through my lens I seek to capture the unique and different everyday life with a personal stamp. With every click of my camera I connect with people through a smile or conversation where I have achieved spontaneity, intimacy and respect. There are three people and a country that triggered my passion for street photography at various times in my life. My grandfather and my father taught me to never stop being surprised in life and this fueled the action of exploring the planet. Today, I have visited more than seventy-five countries in the world and I have had the opportunity to live in five of them. My sister inspired me to photography when we traveled together and she captured moments with her Kodak camera from the 1980’s. Finally, having lived in a city like Shanghai motivated me to tell with my lens the fascinating stories that are lived every day in a country as special as China. I hold an Industrial Engineering degree and Professional Cook but abandoned both careers to focus on photography. I’m a member the Women street photography and Mexican Street Photography Collectives. I’m interested in documentary, travel and street photography. My medium-long-term documentary projects are: • At their home – Show how people live around the world. Through my connection on the street I have managed to enter people's homes and they have shown me how they live. • Elder beauty portrait- Document the expressions, textures and stories of elderly men and women from different cultures who through their skin show a unique beauty • Quirks – Fun and unique things from everyday life that represent cultures, places or people I have recently participated in worldwide exhibitions in Hong Kong, New York, Iran, Mexico but my greatest reward is seeing people's expressions when I show them their photo. They feel happy, heard, and represented. I currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina, in the United States in constant search of new places to visit and stories that my lens can tell

I was immersed in the arts from an early age. My father was an amateur photographer and my mother a painter and pianist. At 8, I got my first Brownie camera and began shooting everything I saw. Watching an image magically emerge from the developing tray in my dad's darkroom; spending afternoons lying under the baby grand piano with waves of sound resonating around and through me; texture, pattern, fluidity, and change - these were my earliest influences, and they continue to unfold in my work. I am fortunate to call the Southwest - a place of incredible natural beauty - my home. I have lived in Tucson, AZ since 1975 when I moved here to pursue a master’s degree in Counseling at the University of Arizona. When I retired from a long career in mental health, I turned my attention full time to photography, ultimately finding my niche in photographing natural subjects. More recently I have begun to create photomontages incorporating these natural objects into both abstract images and scenes of imaginary realism. My work hangs in galleries, hospitals, and private and corporate collections throughout the US. It has been featured at the Griffin Museum of Photography, Boston; Waxlander Gallery, Santa Fe; PhotoPlace Gallery, Vermont; A Smith Gallery, Texas; Fotonostrum, Barcelona; and Afterimage Gallery in Dallas. Selected images have representation through Cynthia Byrnes Contemporary Art in New York.

Born in Milan, the city where he lives and works. My works have been published in many magazines in Italy and abroad and have won numerous international awards. I have presented his main projects in personal and collective exhibitions. I always tackle my photographic projects after a phase of careful preparation which involves an in-depth study of the theme and several inspections of the places that will be the subject of my shots. This requires a certain amount of time, but it is also essential to get into the right atmosphere by having everything I need at my disposal. The atmospheres of my works always correspond to my way of perceiving the place and this often leads me to intervene in an important way in the post-production phase. Painting is also very important in my cultural background and in general my approach to photography takes into account the entire visual arts. Creative and experimental, always attentive to new artistic proposals in his environment, I develope the aesthetic sense of my works by combining classic elements and innovation. I pay particular attention to shapes and materiality.

I was born in Fukushima, Japan in 1985. When I was 20 years old, until then, I had nothing ever touched a camera, and had never been particularly interested in the photography. However, when my mother passed away, I was looking for a way to fill the void of my grief. Then, by chance, I found a street photo book in a small bookstore. After, I became fascinated with the street photography and started as a self-taught. The subjects that interest me the most are the street. An old building nestled among the buildings, a quiet corner of an alleyway, the expressions of people, capturing with own subjectivity the stories hidden in those has been a form of expression for me.

Aurélien Bayo (born in Besançon, France) is a photographer living in Brooklyn, New York. His work explores marginalized youth and communities grappling with climate change.

Eva is a freelance illustrator and photographer based in Czechia. She was born and grew up in the mountainous region in Northern Slovakia and after earning her degree in philosophy, she went on to establish a career as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator specializing in children´s literature. Eva has been intimately connected with photography since 2016. Her body of work falls under the genre of fine art portrait and minimalist landscape photography. A minimalist approach, the absence of colors, the emphasis on space and texture connected with a sometimes near blank canvas provide Eva the necessary means to visually express herself creatively. “As a photographer, I seek beauty in basic geometric lines and shapes, which are bound in harmony with the elusive variability and diversity of natural, organic forms. Photography, for me, is a means of capturing a distilled version of reality. It serves as a tool to seek out and unveil purified connections, free from the noise of superficial information and stimuli that inundate our senses and experiences. Through the lens, I strive to isolate and reveal the essential elements that might otherwise go unnoticed in the chaos of everyday life. Each image crafted is a deliberate act of reducing distractions, allowing viewers to immerse themselves in the simplicity and harmony of the moment.“ Eva´s conceptual portrait/self-portrait photography is closely intertwined with her profession as an illustrator. Through the use of techniques such as line work, drawing or collage, she is able to infuse her portraits with surreal and symbolic elements, blurring the lines between reality and imaginary. The main theme of Eva´s portrait photography is a figure or face reduced in expression, and it serves as an initial frame, against which a fleeting moment of consciousness takes place in hints. As a photographer, Eva finds herself drawn to creating series rather than single images. A series provides her with the opportunity to develop her concepts and articulate her aesthetic visions across a sequence of complementary images. By developing a series, Eva weaves together a visual theme that transcends the limitations of a single photograph, allowing to express her photographic intention in a more nuanced way. Eva has received numerous international awards and her work has been featured in various magazines. In 2022, Eva was awarded the grand prize – the ´Grand Prix Gold Star Award´ – for the series ´Leaving´ in the prestigious international ND Photography Awards for which Eva received the title ND Discovery of the Year 2022.
