As a street photographer, I'm always on the lookout for beautiful and unique moments that happen on the street. I am particularly interested in capturing these moments using strong light and a coincidence of circumstances. My goal is to create a photo that tells a story through the combination of different elements that come together in a single frame.
To achieve this, I look for interesting lights and shadow patterns in various parts of streets and alleys. While doing this I keep an eye out for a coincidence of circumstances. This can be anything from a gust of wind that blows a curtain and a jacket at the same time to a mother holding her child tightly as they pass by a provocative advertisement.
I always pay attention to composition. Framing, leading lines, and the golden spiral can all be used subconscious to create interesting compositions that draw the viewer's eye to the main subject. By choosing an unexpected point of view, such as at the top of the stairs at a subway stop in Berlin, or under a spider's web woven between the blades of grass, you get an unexpected perspective on the everyday world. By doing this I try to create photos that capture the beauty and uniqueness of everyday life.
