Founded in 2008 by Dina Mitrani, the gallery emerged from a deep-rooted connection to Miami’s Wynwood district and a lifelong passion for the arts. After building a successful career in New York at Christie’s Auction House, Mary-Ann Martin Fine Art, and Throckmorton Fine Art, Dina returned to Miami with a vision. Alongside her sister Rhonda, she transformed their family’s former clothing factory into a thriving arts space, helping to lay the groundwork for what would become the Wynwood Art District.

The gallery specializes in showcasing international contemporary photography, with a strong emphasis on emerging and mid-career artists. Through thoughtfully curated exhibitions, artist talks, and educational programs, Dina Mitrani Gallery fosters a deeper understanding of photography as both an artistic and cultural practice.
