Since opening its doors in 2002, Bryce Wolkowitz Gallery has played a pioneering role in redefining the intersection of contemporary art and technology. Located in New York’s Chelsea art district, the gallery was established with a distinct vision: to champion artists working at the forefront of new media, video, and digital practices. Bryce Wolkowitz’s background, shaped by experience at Christie’s and mentorship under film and video art curator John Hanhardt, positioned him uniquely to recognize the creative potential of emergent technologies within the visual arts.

The gallery’s inaugural exhibition, “Art Apparatus,” laid the foundation for a program that continues to explore the evolving language of technology in art.
