Nazarian / Curcio Gallery is a contemporary art space in Los Angeles, founded by Shulamit Nazarian in 2012 with a focus on artists from the greater Middle East. In 2016, Seth Curcio joined the gallery, broadening its scope to include a diverse roster of emerging, mid-career, and established artists whose work engages with social and political themes through deeply personal narratives. In 2017, the gallery relocated to a 6,000-square-foot facility in Hollywood, situated on La Brea Avenue at Melrose. The expansive space features two exhibition galleries, a library, private offices, and dedicated viewing rooms, fostering a dynamic environment for artists and collectors alike.
Nazarian / Curcio is committed to supporting artists at all stages of their careers, amplifying their practice through museum exhibitions, public and private collections, and monographs. The gallery is an active presence in the global art scene, participating in major international art fairs such as Art Basel Miami Beach, Frieze Los Angeles, The Armory Show, ADAA’s The Art Show, EXPO Chicago, and Art Brussels. This engagement ensures that its artists gain visibility on a broad scale while remaining deeply connected to the Los Angeles art community.
Representing both U.S.-based and international artists, the gallery has seen its artists featured in solo and group exhibitions at renowned museums worldwide. Their works are housed in the collections of institutions such as the Guggenheim Museum, MoMA, the Whitney Museum, LACMA, and the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, among many others.
As a member of The Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA), New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA), and Gallery Association Los Angeles (GALA), Nazarian / Curcio continues to contribute to the evolution of contemporary art, championing artists whose work challenges, inspires, and provokes dialogue.
