Perspective Gallery

Perspective Group and Photography Gallery is a vibrant, not-for-profit cooperative dedicated to advancing the appreciation of fine art photography within the community and beyond. Located in the Chicago area, the gallery is run by a collective of passionate photographers who share a commitment to both their craft and the broader artistic community.

At its core, Perspective Gallery offers a dynamic space where creativity and dialogue flourish. The gallery hosts monthly exhibitions that showcase the work of both member and featured artists, fostering an environment of continual discovery. In addition to these regular shows, Perspective organizes a robust calendar of public programming, including artist talks and a respected guest speaker lecture series that brings fresh perspectives and critical insights to audiences.

Each year, the gallery presents four cornerstone exhibitions: an international juried show that attracts submissions from around the world, a juried exhibition spotlighting Chicago-area talent, an invitational show, and a special juried showcase for local high school students, encouraging emerging photographers and nurturing the next generation of visual storytellers.

The work exhibited at Perspective Gallery spans a wide array of photographic practices. From analog film and digital imagery to alternative processes, mixed media, collage, and encaustic techniques, the gallery’s members represent a broad and evolving spectrum of creative expression.
