Atlanta - 814 Edgewood Ave - GA 30307
Whitespace Gallery, located in Atlanta's historic Inman Park neighborhood, is a contemporary art space dedicated to fostering free expression, intimacy, and dialogue. Housed in a converted 1893 carriage house, the gallery offers a unique and inviting atmosphere that encourages visitors to engage deeply with art.

Founded in 2005 by Susan Bridges, Whitespace has become a cornerstone of Atlanta's art community. Bridges, who has a background in advertising and a passion for art, transformed her backyard into a dynamic exhibition space, hosting pop-up shows in unconventional venues before establishing the permanent gallery.

Whitespace represents a diverse roster of artists, including painters, photographers, sculptors, and multimedia creators. The gallery's exhibitions span various mediums and styles, promoting artistic innovation and exploring themes that define collective and individual identities.

The gallery's commitment to community engagement is evident through its lively openings, artist talks, and workshops. These events provide platforms for artists to showcase their work and foster connections among artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts.

Whitespace Gallery continues to inspire and challenge visitors, offering fresh perspectives and a deeper understanding of contemporary art. Its dedication to nurturing both emerging and established artists ensures its vital role in Atlanta's cultural landscape.
