Elite Model Management
Headquarters: New York - 55 Hudson Yards - NY 10001
Elite Model Management is one of the most prestigious modeling agencies in the world, known for launching the careers of some of the most iconic supermodels in fashion history. Established in Paris in 1972 by John Casablancas and Alain Kittler, Elite quickly revolutionized the industry by introducing the concept of the "supermodel," transforming models into global celebrities. Today, the agency operates internationally, with offices in major fashion capitals such as New York, London, Milan, and Los Angeles.

Elite has a long-standing reputation for scouting and nurturing top-tier talent. Over the decades, the agency has represented legendary models such as Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Gisele Bündchen, Claudia Schiffer, and Linda Evangelista. By providing world-class career management, Elite has shaped the trajectories of these models, securing high-profile campaigns, runway shows, and editorial features that cemented their status as fashion icons.

One of Elite’s defining contributions to the industry is its annual Elite Model Look competition, a global model search that has discovered fresh talent since 1983. This competition has helped identify and develop some of the biggest names in modeling, offering young hopefuls the opportunity to enter the competitive fashion world with professional guidance.

Beyond traditional modeling, Elite has adapted to the changing industry by embracing digital influencers and content creators. The agency recognizes the growing power of social media in shaping beauty and fashion trends and has expanded its roster to include personalities who thrive both on and off the runway.

With decades of experience, a keen eye for talent, and an ability to evolve with the industry, Elite remains a dominant force in the modeling and fashion world. Its legacy continues to influence the standards of beauty and success in global fashion.

All About Photo Presents ’Rural Life in the Hudson Valley’ by Susan Anthony
The photographs in this exhibition are part of a project about rural life in the Hudson Valley. For the past five years, I have been taking photographs of individuals and families in upstate New York. Having spent many years as a weekender and homeowner, most of the people I knew were other New Yorkers, and I never had the chance to meet people who grew up in this rural area. During the pandemic, I spent many hours outside with my camera, walking along the road and photographing local residents. Eventually, I decided to create a project about the people I met. Now, as some of these individuals have become friends, I continue to meet others whose families have lived in this area for many generations.
