INCIPIT VITA NOVA

The competition opens every year with the call for photographers, reserved for young photographers under 35. This year's edition focuses on the concept – cornerstone and foundation of Dante's work, La Vita Nova - of life renewed by love, in its many forms and possibilities. Three winners will be selected by the technical jury (composed of Silvia Camporesi, Carlo Sala and Giangavino Pazzola) who, in addition to a cash prize and the publication of a catalog, will have the opportunity to exhibit their projects in our spaces.

Once the winners' exhibitions have concluded, the jury will select twenty photographic projects from among the contest participants which will give life to a widespread photography festival in April 2020: the CAMERA WORK / OFF festival.

1st Prize: 3000 euros (gross), a personal exhibition at the PR2 spaces, the publication of a personal catalog.
2nd Prize: 2000 euros (gross), a personal exhibition in the spaces of PR2, the publication of a personal catalog.
3rd Prize: 1000 euros (gross), a personal exhibition in the spaces of PR2, the publication of a personal catalog.
The three winners will exhibit, for a period of three weeks, in the PR2 space of the Municipality of Ravenna. The production of the exhibition and its transport to Ravenna is borne by the artist, while the artist's set-up and accommodation expenses during the opening will be borne by the Municipality.
In addition to the three winners, the jury will select a shortlist of twenty authors, who will exhibit within the FESTIVAL Camera work / OFF in April 2021.
