It is an honor to invite you to participate in the third edition of the fine art awards 2025, a celebration of excellence in photographic art. This is the third edition of an event that promises to highlight and reward the most outstanding works of 2025. Your talent and creativity are crucial to the success of this initiative.

Creativity is the soul of Fine Art photography. The photographers gathered here aim to convey emotions, concepts, and thoughts through their images. Each photograph is the result of meticulous planning, carefully designed artistic composition, and image manipulation to achieve a desired effect. This is the essence of Fine Art photography: the ability to capture the unique vision of an artist.

In contrast to documentary photography, where the objective is to capture reality objectively, Fine Art photography allows us to explore subjectivity and personal interpretation of reality. Artists have the freedom to alter and reinterpret the world according to their own vision, resulting in images that are ultimately expressions of their individual perspective.

Every Fine Art photographer develops a distinctive personal style that is reflected in all of their works. Whether through the choice of recurring themes, specific post-production techniques, or a unique artistic approach, each image is a manifestation of the artist’s creative voice.

After ten years of championing talented photographers, we have intricately designed the Fine Art Awards with a single purpose: to uncover stunning images and photographers eager to elevate their careers through the unparalleled recognition and international visibility provided by the Fine Art Awards. Your captivating images deserve exposure, and we are dedicated to ensuring they receive the attention they deserve. Dörte Eisseldt Wins the Viviane Esders Prize

Convened by Viviane Esders, the jury has awarded the 2025 Viviane Esders Prize to German photographer Dörte Eißfeldt. The laureate will be officially announced on November 3 during a ceremony at the INHA (Institut National de l’Histoire de l’Art) in Paris and in her presence. She will receive an endowment of €50,000, while the two other finalists, Oleksandr Suprun and Bohdan Holomíček, will each receive €5,000 and will also attend the event. The jury chose to honor an artistic practice sustained over more than forty years, distinguished by its coherence, poetry, and deep reflection on the photographic medium—qualities that particularly captivated the jury’s attention in Dörte Eißfeldt’s work.
