AAP Magazine’s 53rd printed issue, dedicated to the theme TRAVELS.
What is Travel Photography?
Travel photography is more than just documenting places — it’s about capturing the essence of a journey. From vast landscapes and bustling cities to cultural encounters and intimate moments along the way, travel photography reveals how we experience the world.
Over the decades, countless photographers have sought to preserve the spirit of exploration through their lenses. The genre spans from classic postcards and photojournalism to artistic interpretations that reflect personal stories of movement, discovery, and connection.
Today, travel photography continues to be one of the most engaging and diverse forms of storytelling. It evokes wonder, curiosity, and empathy, transporting viewers to distant lands or uncovering beauty in the familiar.
What We’re Looking For
For this special issue, we want to see your vision of TRAVEL — whether it’s across continents or within your own country. Show us what it means to embark on a journey, discover new cultures, or find extraordinary stories in unexpected places.
The subject matter is open: we welcome both digital and analog photography, in color or black and white, including experimental processes and mixed techniques. Send us a cohesive body of work or portfolio that captures the spirit of travel, from epic adventures to intimate encounters.
