CPA is an International Photography contest born with the ambition to stablish
itself as one of the references in Nature Photography Contests globally. Its
main target is to promote Ecology, respect for Nature and Sustainability. In
order to be more effective in achieving this objective, the contest was
conceived to take place in combination with a week-long event (Canarian
Photo Week) that brings together the Jury and offers workshops to assistants
on privileged natural locations.
The Jury was made up by a number of prestigious landscape photographers:
Thomas Heaton, Mads Peter Iversen, Kilian Schöenberger, Isabella Tabachi,
Montserrat González, Javier Alonso Torre, Jesús M. García, Luis Miguel Azorín,
Mario Rubio, Néstor Rodan and Justo Gómez.
The Contest had a very successful result with more than 2,500 photographs
presented by authors of more than 40 countries. More importantly the quality
of the images and the artistic level of the photographers was from the highest
standards (See ANNEX1 with all the awarded photographs and authors)
This year, the meeting is scheduled in Lanzarote from February 7th till 12th. On
the 11th there will be a Gala Dinner with the assistants of the meeting and the
winners and Jury of the contest awards. We will also have the support of the
main sponsors of the two events, including:

The Jury assigns an overall winner and, for each of the five categories, a first
place, second place and Honorable Mentions for the best photographs. The
