Behind the Shot: Optical Illusion
This ironic photograph is part of a larger project: AGE PRIDE. Born from a series of snapshots that portray the elderly in their daily lives, in their time, immersed in the anthropological reality of places, of the street. We need to learn to look at old age as a season that still bears new fruits, the elderly not as "waste" but as a natural resource, memory of the country and humanity. The age of the no longer young is an age in which time is lived in every nuance, slowly but also with the desire to move forward enjoying life, with the desire to continue the journey with the curiosity of discovery. Time therefore becomes an ally of the inner revolution because beauty is ageless. Old age must be a source of pride, a metamorphosis, an achievement and a true celebration, free from those clichés and stereotypes that characterize our society.
