Behind the Shot: He does not surrender his abandonment to any dream.
Landscapes submitted to a meticulous study, and modified making his own work, creating a liminal image, that is, between the real and the imaginary. These contemporary and reinterpreted photographs invite us to a dreamlike journey through the countryside, a different and imaginary countryside in our dimension. The result that the photographer offers us on that field that he knows so well, allows us to capture the ephemeral moment from his gaze. The dichotomies of this rural landscape, taken out of the temporal context, since it has neither sun nor moon, only the natural and the modified, trees or small solitary constructions, the apocalypse against the resurgence. The only thing that remains constant is aesthetics, solitude and silence. Humberto Ybarra invites us to a journey to another dimension that escapes our sight, to the creation of liminal space, empty or abandoned places, dreamlike that seem disturbing, desolate and often surreal that with that harmony of broken colors leads us to feel peace or nostalgia.
