Guild Hall in East Hampton has stood as a cornerstone of cultural life on the East End since its founding in 1931. More than just a museum or a theater, it is a multidisciplinary center that brings together the visual and performing arts with a strong focus on education and community engagement. For over ninety years, Guild Hall has welcomed audiences and artists alike to explore the richness and diversity of creative expression.

Each year, the institution presents more than 200 programs that reach around 60,000 visitors, making it one of the most active cultural venues in the region. The Guild Hall Museum organizes six to eight exhibitions annually, highlighting both historical and contemporary works, with a special emphasis on artists connected to the Hamptons. This dedication not only honors the region’s long artistic legacy but also affirms its continuing role as a vibrant center of creativity.

The John Drew Theater, located within Guild Hall, presents an equally dynamic calendar of performances. Audiences enjoy an array of offerings, from plays and concerts to dance, film screenings, literary readings, and simulcasts of world-class productions. The programming balances classic works with innovative new creations, ensuring that the stage remains a space for both tradition and experimentation.
