Its new building, designed with timeless simplicity and elegant detail, reflects both functionality and beauty. The rectilinear form is softened by light-filled voids—two open-air terraces and a dramatic three-story lightwell—that create moments of reflection and invite natural light deep into the heart of the structure.

The exterior, composed of dark brick masonry treated with manganese, reveals subtle shifts in tone as the sun moves across its surface, while expanses of glass add openness and transparency. Inside, the design emphasizes warmth and clarity. White walls and generous light frame the works on display, while details in birch wood add a sense of welcome and intimacy. The museum balances its role as a contemplative gallery with that of a lively cultural center.

Visitors enter through a spacious first-floor lobby and event area that anchors the building as a gathering place for the community.
