Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B/SD USB 3.2 Gen 2 Card Reader

The Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B / SD USB 3.2 Gen 2 Card Reader is a compact yet powerful tool designed with demanding photographers and videographers in mind. Built around a dual-slot configuration, it supports both CFexpress Type B and UHS-II SD cards, making it a versatile companion for hybrid shooters working across multiple formats.

Performance is where this reader truly shines. Leveraging USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectivity, it delivers transfer speeds of up to 10Gb/s, enabling rapid offloading of large RAW files and even 8K video footage. In real-world use, this translates into a noticeably smoother workflow, especially when handling high-volume shoots or tight editing deadlines.

The design is simple and efficient. With a single USB-C connection and included cables for both USB-C and USB-A, the reader adapts easily to different setups without requiring additional accessories. Its compact and lightweight build makes it well suited for travel or on-location work, where portability matters just as much as performance.

Another strong point is convenience. The ability to offload two cards simultaneously is a practical advantage, reducing downtime between shooting and post-production. Overall, the Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B / SD reader strikes an excellent balance between speed, reliability, and portability. It is a dependable solution for professionals looking to streamline their workflow without investing in bulkier or more expensive docking systems.
