Founded in 2013 by Tom and Lois White, Whitepoint Gallery is a contemporary art space rooted in creative innovation and a bold embrace of large-scale works. Located in the vibrant and ever-evolving community of Asbury Park, New Jersey, the gallery sits at a cultural crossroads between New York City and Philadelphia, making it a dynamic meeting ground for artists, collectors, and curious visitors alike.
Whitepoint is distinguished by its commitment to presenting art that pushes boundaries—visually, conceptually, and technically. The gallery currently showcases the work of resident artist Tom White, whose alternative hybrid process blurs the lines between painting, sculpture, photography, and digital imaging. His work reflects a multidisciplinary approach that fuses analog methods with digital technologies, resulting in striking and unconventional pieces that challenge traditional forms.
The gallery’s curatorial scope includes abstract expressionism, hyperrealism, conceptual, coastal, and urban art, offering a diverse yet cohesive viewing experience. Each exhibition is carefully curated to highlight innovative processes and unique perspectives, while also making space for dialogue and experimentation. Whitepoint represents a growing roster of contemporary artists, all of whom are available for commissions, adding a personal and collaborative dimension to the gallery’s offerings.
Beyond its exhibitions, Whitepoint functions as a creative hub, hosting seminars, artist talks, and special events that connect the local and global art communities. It’s a space where artistic voices are nurtured and where visitors are invited to experience art not just as an object, but as a conversation. Whether you're a seasoned collector or a first-time visitor, Whitepoint offers an inspiring encounter with the cutting edge of contemporary art.
