A highlight of this edition is Haute Photographie Rotterdam 2026, staged in the industrial Keile building in the M4H district. For the 11th edition, the fair will occupy 1,250 m², reinventing the space as a large-scale pop-up museum. Departing from conventional fair stands, the exhibition uses an open, museum-style layout to present photography in three distinct perspectives: Vintage, Contemporary, and Talents. Visitors will encounter work by approximately 50 international photographers, spanning iconic vintage masters, contemporary innovators, and emerging artists, offering both inspiration and historical context.

This year, Haute Photographie emphasizes two main themes: Wild & Earth and New Rotterdam Talents. Wild & Earth, developed in collaboration with the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), showcases eight photographers, including Donal Boyd, Katiche van der Knoop, and Jasper Zwartjes. Their work explores the delicate relationship between animals, habitat, and nature, ranging from striking wildlife images to serene landscapes, underscoring the urgent need for conservation and environmental awareness.

New Rotterdam Talents shines a spotlight on local emerging photographers, reflecting the city’s role as a breeding ground for creative innovation. Highlights include Danae Looman’s intimate narratives, Roos Peltenburg’s experimental fashion photography, and Merel Klomp & Elmar Janse’s glacier-focused projects. Complementing the exhibition, the exclusive launch of Fresh Eyes 2026 will present 100 of the world’s most promising emerging photographers.
