It now serves as the flagship event of Peaks Art Fairs, a platform dedicated to rethinking how art fairs serve artists, galleries, and communities.

Since relocating to Reno in 2020, O’Keefe and Dolan have witnessed the region’s dramatic growth. An influx of new residents and substantial investment in luxury real estate have reshaped the Reno Tahoe area, bringing with it an expanding base of collectors and patrons. Set against the striking landscapes of the Sierra Nevada and Lake Tahoe, the fair draws upon both natural grandeur and a flourishing creative community of local and national artists.

With decades of experience launching international events, including the International Contemporary Furniture Fair and NYCxDesign, O’Keefe envisioned an art fair that would feel refined yet welcoming. Dolan, whose background includes luxury design marketing, emphasized hospitality and community engagement. Together they crafted a model that avoids redundancy and highlights diversity across media and price points. Thousands of works—from painting and photography to large-scale sculpture and curated installations linked to Burning Man—are presented in a format that invites discovery rather than exclusivity.

Beyond the exhibition booths, the show integrates panel discussions, keynote talks, film, music, dance, and live performance, transforming the fair into a cultural gathering place. Since its debut in 2022, attendance and sales have steadily increased, establishing the event as the largest indoor sculptural showcase in the nation.
