The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is running an exhibition in February dedicated to Wildlife.
A new theme for the gallery, this exhibition invites photographers to explore the visual delight of wildlife and the stories they tell. From animals in their natural habitats to those appearing in unexpected places, the possibilities are wide open.
Photographers can explore wildlife’s relationships with humans, both positive and negative, as well as the many forms wildlife can take—from the exotic to the domestic, and from rural environments to urban settings.
Wildlife is an open call for photographers to submit up to 8 images.
If selected, participants will have:
- Their work printed and displayed in the gallery
- Their work displayed in an online gallery on our website
- Their work be included in an exhibition catalogue
- A digital certificate of participation sent out before the start of the exhibition
- Their work photographed in situ once installed. These photos will be shared with participants directly via email and through our social media after the exhibition has started.
- Their work videoed. These videos will be shared via the gallery’s social media pages.
- Have their work automatically put forward for a chance to be named Photographer of the Month.
How to participate:
Submissions are FREE. If your work is selected, there will be a participation fee of £50.00. Unless otherwise stated by the gallery, images will either be printed 16"x12", 18"x12", or 12"x12" in size depending on the image.
