Carlotta Gallery: People

This is a focus on people as they appear in everyday life, and on the single person within them, without staging or certainty. People are alone or together, close or distant, each one a small world within a larger unfolding of moments that continue beyond the frame. The human presence becomes both individual and collective, central and passing.

Photography gathers these moments as traces rather than conclusions. What remains is not explanation but recognition, the sense of having seen a person or people as they were, even if only for a second, held briefly in light before moving on.
