Chris Killip: North presents photographs made in the Northeast of England and Ireland between 1975 and 1986. Edited by Mark Holborn with exclusive access to Killip’s archive, the book includes 224 illustrations, nearly half of which have not been published before. The images cover towns such as Huddersfield, fishing communities on the North Yorkshire coast, and the miners’ strike, documenting the economic and social conditions that shaped these areas.

Born on the Isle of Man in 1946, Killip spent much of his career working in the North of England.
