Ian Thomas Jansen-Lonnquist

Ian Thomas Jansen-Lonnquist (b. 1987) graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Natural Resource Planning and minor studies in Community and International Development. Ian worked for a variety of non-profits before pursuing photography full-time. Since 2009 Ian has been a constant contributor to the Burlington Free Press, Vermont's largest daily newspaper. Ian has also worked for the Boston Globe, BUST Magazine, Vermont AP, Vermont Life, Vermont Quarterly and the University of Vermont as well as working with NGO's such as The Vt. Peoples with AIDS Coalition, and the Bosana Foundation in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2012 Ian was added to the Reportage by Getty Images Emerging Talent roster and was nominated for PDN's 30 under 30. Ian has an intense interest in community, indigenous, human and environmental rights.
