Chinese Photographer | Born: 1973
Adou graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Sichuan Aba Normal College, China, in 1995. He is the recipient of several important photography awards, including among others the Three Shadows Photography Award (2009) and the Japan MIO International Young Photographers Competition for his series Public Buses & Chinese People (2005), and he also received an Honorable Mention at the World’s 100 Young Photographers KLM Paul Huf Award in the Netherlands (2007). Adou’s photographs have been shown throughout Asia, Europe and the United States, including two major solo exhibitions in New York and San Francisco (2009) and a retrospective exhibition in Kyoto (2007).

Sevinçli’s images are highly personal, subjective and dreamlike, in which place and time are uncertain, redolent instead of a deeply felt vision of the world. Born: 1970
Christopher Anderson was born in Canada in 1970 and grew up in west Texas. He first gained recognition for his pictures in 1999 when he boarded a handmade, wooden boat with Haitian refugees trying to sail to America. The boat, named the Believe In God, sank in the Caribbean. In 2000 the images from that journey would receive the Robert Capa Gold Medal.
