Biography

I moved to Colorado at eighteen, where the wilderness became my sanctuary while navigating years of severe depression, physical trauma, and deep personal loss. My artistic journey originally began at twenty through drawing and painting—eventually donating over 65 works to children’s hospitals across the Southwest—but I didn't pick up a camera until I was thirty.

That first camera proved to be the missing link, seamlessly uniting my reverence for nature with my passion for visual expression. Capturing the raw, transformative beauty of the outdoors became a profound avenue for healing, allowing me to turn years of darkness into a source of light for others. Today, my photography is deeply intertwined with narrative storytelling, using the catharsis of nature to explore themes of resilience, hope, and the profound beauty born from struggle.

Statement

I strive to continue to push myself further into sharing the beautiful moments I am blessed to experience in life while connecting with others and trying to be a positive light in the world. My experiences and journey have shown me that with family, friends, and faith anything is possible and that when you change your perspective, you can inspire the world.
