A gem in the mountains, Telluride Gallery of Fine Art is dedicated to connecting contemporary art with art lovers since 1985. As the region's oldest established gallery, we exhibit the best in contemporary painting, photography, sculpture, and avant-garde jewelry. We strive to remain at the forefront of emerging and contemporary art while being a resource for artists, clients, and the community.

Telluride is a unique location surrounded by the 13,000’ San Juan Mountains and tucked in a box canyon. We are proudly a cultural center of Colorado and a designated Arts District. In 1975 Meryl Meisler moved to New York City. Two years later its most notorious and celebrated nightclub, Studio 54, opened its doors. Meisler immersed herself in the nightlife scene and began to make images of Studio 54's colorful pleasure-seekers, along with some of its most noted party-goers such as Andy Warhol. The photographer states, ''When Studio 54 opened, my friend JudiJupiter got us on the guest list as photographers. The doorman took a liking and parted the door for us night after night. Studio 54's fabulous changing décor, DJs, sound system, and incredible crowds of diverse ages, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and gender identities were thrilling.''

Ralph Gibson: Secret of Light
This wide-ranging exhibition by the photographer Ralph Gibson (*1939) presents the development of his work from the 1960s to the present day based on selected series. The exhibition is being developed in a direct collaboration between the artist and the curator, Dr. Sabine Schnakenberg, and is composed of some 300 analogue and digital works in black and white and color from the artist's private collection as well as works that the collector F.C. Gundlach acquired during his collaboration with Ralph Gibson in the early 1980s for his private photography collection, which is now on permanent loan to the House of Photography at the Deichtorhallen.

Arresting Beauty: Julia Margaret Cameron is a collection of work by one of the most innovative and influential photographers of all time.
Vasantha Yogananthan:  Mystery Street
French photographer Vasantha Yogananthan is the 2019 laureate of Immersion, a French-American Photography Commission. Mentored by Agnès Sire, he chose to undertake his residency in the southern US state of Louisiana. Yogananthan spent time with city children over the course of a long, hot summer, capturing their sense of the ephemeral, ever-changing world around them. “Mystery Street” is the title of the resulting series, a solo exhibition and a monograph, co-published with Chose Commune.

Stephen Inggs: Botanical Legacies
HackelBury is pleased to present Botanical Legacies, a solo exhibition by South African artist Stephen Inggs. Inggs' work focuses on material objects which become symbols of transience and history. His images of flowers are beautiful but belie more sombre themes around colonialism and migration. Inggs is interested in the 'archaeology of identity' and how 'the emblems of cultural history and the circulation of objects' are given new meanings.
