Since 2006, MOPA has held an annual juried exhibition showcasing the photographic talents of youth in San Diego and Tijuana. Every year, students are encouraged to submit work that responds visually to a particular theme. The winning entries are selected for their creativity and artistic interpretation. This year students responded to the theme “Sound.” The exhibition highlights the students’ imaginative approaches to visualizing what we can hear but not always see.
Reverberate: Sound and Image is made possible by the generous support of Adobe; the California Arts Council; City of San Diego; County of San Diego; Farrell Family Foundation; Barbara Freeman, Jewish Community Foundation; the Gardner Bilingual Fund; Jeff & Patty Maysent; Rice Family Foundation; ResMed Foundation; San Diego Lions Welfare Foundation; Walter J. & Betty C.
