Lucas Foglia: Human Nature

July 19, 2018 to September 30, 2018
Lucas Foglia: Human Nature
600 South Michigan Avenue
Chicago - 60605 IL
From the untarnished abandon of so-called wild spaces to literal urban jungles, Lucas Foglia: Human Nature reflects on the human impact on the natural world and how humans have altered the seemingly unalterable. Examining a broad range of themes, from the scientific realities of climate change to the poetic human longing for natural spaces, Lucas Foglia: Human Nature is a nuanced exploration of the forces—both internal and external—that both pit us against and bring us closer to the natural world.

The MoCP is supported by Columbia College Chicago, the MoCP Advisory Board, the Museum Council, individuals, and private and corporate foundations. The 2017-2018 exhibition season is generously sponsored by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, the Efroymson Family Fund, and the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
