The mission of the Center for Contemporary Arts is to encourage, empower and inspire artists, children and the community through the arts. The Center for Contemporary Arts, a 501 (c) (3) corporation, was founded in 1989. The Center's exhibits and community education programs serve over 26,000 individuals annually. By offering free admission to all exhibits, the Center serves a broad cross-section of the community, reaching individuals of a variety of ages, ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds. While we are proud of the quality and variety of the Center's exhibits, we recognize that providing an enriching and educational experience for gallery visitors requires more than hanging art on the walls. As our gallery offerings have grown, so have our efforts to make the Center more accessible to the broad demographic served by our programs. The Center currently has more than 60 artist members and rents ten artist studios. Five galleries, one devoted to photography, present more than 20 different admission-free exhibits of regional art, international photography, and award-winning short films to more than 26,000 individuals each year.

516 ARTS is a non-collecting contemporary art museum in the center of Downtown Albuquerque that celebrates thought-provoking art in the here and now. Our mission is to connect contemporary artists and diverse audiences. 516 ARTS presents relevant exhibitions and public programs, which feature a mix of local, national, and international artists and inspire curiosity, risk-taking and creative experimentation.

Founded in 2006, 516 ARTS engages with timely themes such as the environment, immigration, and the north/south axis of cultural exchange with a focus on Latin America. Our public programs include collaborations with museums and organizations around the region and beyond, public art projects, guest speakers, public forums, the 516 WORDS literary series, workshops, performances and special events. Education programs include exhibition tours for schools and community groups with curriculum support materials for teachers, youth activities, and hands-on workshops with guest artists.

Multiple Exposures Gallery is a cooperative gallery of 15 award-winning photographers whose creations are in many private and public collections. Their distinctly different artistic visions are presented through traditional and digital photographic techniques including alternative processes. Founded in 1985, Multiple Exposures Gallery is widely recognized within the Washington, DC metropolitan area photographic community. The members are sought-after speakers, noted educators and traditional and digital photographic specialists and technicians. The gallery is always staffed by one of the members to assist you with purchases and to answer questions about photography.

The International Gallery of Contemporary Art (IGCA) is an exhibition space dedicated to new works in visual and interdisciplinary arts. It was established to provide the community with a place where provocative ideas, diverse art forms, artists and audiences can come together, to offer a point of view that encourages vision, risk-taking and discovery, and to be an art space where experimentation and risk are still possible.

The Elizabeth Myers Mitchell Gallery, located on the campus of St. John’s College, is a treasure in historic Annapolis. Accredited by the American Alliance of Museums in 2012 and dedicated to bringing art of world renown to Annapolis since it opened in 1989, the Mitchell Gallery’s modern design by architect Chip Bohl won a Citation of Merit from the American Institute of Architects. It attracts over 10,000 visitors a year to its museum-quality exhibits which range in theme and diversity for a gallery of its size. Exhibitions have included works of celebrated artists such as Bruegel, Calder, Rembrandt, Rodin, Motherwell and Johns, exhibitions of unique historical and regional interest, such as photography by A. Aubrey Bodine and Marion Warren and The National Craft Show. The Mitchell Gallery serves the community of St. John's and the wider communities of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County as a resource for viewing, discussing, and learning about fine art.

Since 1994, the Baldwin Gallery has been presenting new work by established artists of international renown, with a focus on American Art. The Baldwin Gallery is nestled in the heart of Aspen and continues to be an important venue for contemporary art, frequented by skiers, socialites, and art aficionados alike.

Casterline|Goodman Gallery is a fine art gallery and art advisory office providing art consultation in both the primary and secondary markets. Our expertise lies in working together with clients to understand their personal aesthetic and collecting goals in order to find works of art that fit their interests and budget. We believe that understanding the overall market is an integral part of our job as consultants, and take pride in educating our clients on the market conditions of any given artist or specific piece.

With a combined total of over 30 years in the business, Robert Casterline and Jordan Goodman assist clients in all aspects of building a fine art collection. Casterline|Goodman's strong presence in the global art community, and deep understanding of art market conditions, auctions, and private sales, has enabled the placement of unique works in established private, corporate and institutional collections internationally. Casterline|Goodman staff travels around the world regularly exhibiting in art fairs and attending gallery openings, museum exhibitions, and auctions in order to provide its clientele with the most current information regarding the global art market.

Working in tandem with our advisory services, we represent a select group of primary artists that we show in conjunction with established artists in Aspen, Chicago and Naples. LightBox Photographic Gallery was established in June 2009 to provide a center for the promotion of creative and alternative photography on the North Coast of Oregon. LightBox provides a venue where photographic artists may exhibit their work, share their vision, and inspire other photographers and individuals. LightBox strives to exhibit a diversity of photographic styles and processes, to educate in these techniques and methods, and to influence the community in the recognition of photography as fine art. LightBox encourages the continued use of film, traditional photographic methods, historical alternative processes and seeks to discover and recognize the finest works in digital photography. LightBox serves as a gathering place for photographers and individuals who appreciate fine photography and has brought together many who had not previously had an opportunity to meet. We enjoy each and every day meeting all those who come into the gallery. We are proud to have brought this resource to Astoria and to have experienced and shared the vision of so many unique individual artists.

Lumière provides a diverse range of photographic art through its’ own proprietary collection, regular exhibitions and acquisition activities on behalf of clients.
The gallery has work from over 75 photographers. They range from masters of the 19th and 20th century to more contemporary practitioners. All are established, with works in important museum collections, as well as having participated in multiple exhibitions. Most have had multiple books and catalogues published on their work.The gallery’s collection is available in a virtual mode through this web site (www.lumieregallery.net) as well as in person at our physical location, in the Buckhead section of Atlanta Georgia.
Exhibitions are augmented by lectures in partnership with leading institutions, talks at the gallery and through film screenings. Recent exhibitions may also be viewed on line for up to two years from the date of the show. Many of the artists’ talks and film screenings are also available on line.
Lumière was founded to advance the understanding and appreciation of photography. The gallery has also supported a range of photography initiatives at the secondary school and university levels.

Arnika Dawkins Gallery is devoted to presenting fine art from both emerging and established photographers, specializing in images by African Americans and of African Americans. The gallerist is passionate about connecting collectors to artwork that is significant, inspiring and provocative. As a fine art photographer and avid collector herself, she is a valuable resource to collectors and artists alike. The gallery's objective is to provide an educational platform that supports this burgeoning community of talented artists.

Mason Murer Fine Art opened in Atlanta’s Buckhead / Armour Industrial District in 2004. Atlanta’s largest fine art gallery, the AIA award-winning 24,000 square-foot space is unique in its scope and its offerings. The gallery’s focus is a continually evolving selection of high quality contemporary works by regional, national, and international artists. In addition, Mason Murer Fine Art is in the business of showcasing the work of new artists and facilitating their further artistic development. Mason Murer Fine Art welcomes private and corporate collectors, and welcomes professionals from the decorative arts community. The wide variety of works always available at Mason Murer is without compare in the region. The Mason Murer facility also functions as a world-class venue for special events, corporate parties and charity galas.

APG’s mission is to provide opportunities for photographers to further their artistic development, advance and sustain an inclusive and vibrant photographic community for all individuals interested in contemporary photography, and to promote and support contemporary photography as a significant art form. These goals are supported through a wide range of activities that are overseen by a Board of Directors.

In 1987, a motivated group of photographers and collectors founded Atlanta Photography Group (APG) as a member-supported nonprofit organization to bring more opportunities for photographers to exhibit in Atlanta. Initial meetings were held in members’ homes on a monthly basis to share information and to show and critique work. The first gallery exhibition space opening in downtown Atlanta in 1988. Receiving 501(c)3 status that same year, APG is Atlanta’s oldest photography art center. In 2002, APG moved to its current location at the Tula Art Center.

APG hosts exhibitions throughout the year in its gallery space in Ansley Mall between CVS and LA Fitness. Most shows are juried by well-known photography curators, gallery owners and experts. APG is free and open to the public, Tuesday – Saturday, 10 – 4pm or by appointment.

The Woodruff Arts Center is the largest arts educator in the state of Georgia, with a network of programs that reaches over 300,000 students in over 70 counties each year. Together, the four Woodruff Arts Center partners - Alliance Theatre, Arts for Learning, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and High Museum of Art – create arts-infused educational experiences for students from 18 months old all the way to adult, both in schools and on the Woodruff Arts Center campus.

Whitespace is a contemporary gallery active in Atlanta and across the southeast that seeks to foster an immersive environment of free-expression, intimacy, and dialogue. Under the direction of owner Susan Bridges, the gallery has housed numerous exhibitions across all mediums promoting artistic innovation and inquiries into the relationships that define who we are, both collectively and as individuals. As a respected institution in Atlanta’s art community, whitespace and the artists it houses continue to inspire all who attend through thoughtful examinations of the world around us, allowing viewers a new mode of seeing beyond meaning.

Marcia Wood Gallery represents artists of merit who are making notable contributions to the field of contemporary art. The roster encompasses exceptional young artists at the onset of their careers to internationally established masters. The criteria for artists represented is a consistent commitment to work of a powerful individual vision, a depth of content and a mastery of craft. In dialogue with an ongoing focus on painting, the gallery presents a diverse program of media including video, installation, digital media, sculpture and photography. Marcia Wood has been working in the arts in Atlanta since 1983. Marcia Wood Gallery was founded in 1995.

Brickworks Gallery was founded in 2016 by Laura W. Adams. Adams, an artist herself, has shown her work for 25 years in galleries and exhibitions across the country. Throughout her years as an artist, she has come to admire and collect works by many other artists she has met along the way. Adams has brought these artists together to create Atlanta’s new art venue, Brickworks Gallery. Brickworks Gallery is dedicated to showcasing the work of talented and inspired artists whose work tells compelling stories. The artists come from all walks of life, but they have this trait in common: their work is a finely crafted expression of their lives and life experiences, story-telling art that is fun, compelling and accessible.

Thomas Deans Fine Art was established in 1983 and during the following decade became known as one of the leading American specialists in British art on paper from the great age of watercolor, 1750-1860. Since the turn of the century, the gallery has continually expanded its inventory and exhibitions to include an eclectic and varied presentation of modern and contemporary art in a variety of media by American and European artists, ranging from mid-and late-career masters of international reputation, such as British painter-sculptor-printmaker Christopher Le Brun and renowned American painter-illustrator Mark English, to emerging regional artists of exceptional talent. Beginning in 2004, the gallery added contemporary photography to its exhibitions of works on paper. The gallery now offers photography, including gelatin-silver prints, analog c-prints, platinum/palladium prints, and digital format, by a select group of emerging and mid-career artists of regional and national reputation.

The Stephen L. Clark Gallery was established in 1994 and is located in a unique 1800's building in the heart of Austin, Texas at W. Sixth and Baylor Streets. The gallery specializes in fine art photographs with an emphasis on contemporary work, with access to national and international vintage work as well.

Wach Gallery in Avon Lake specializes in fine vintage and contemporary photographs from the 19th and 20th century. Established in 1979, Wach Gallery specializes in original photographic works of art by Master Photographers such as Ansel Adams and also offers a variety of fine selections from various contemporary artists. These works are displayed in a showroom that is open by appointment only.

Between the years 1979-1999, Paul Cava owned and operated the Paul Cava Gallery in Philadelphia. The gallery was a unique showcase for cutting edge photography, painting and sculpture. Cava brought to local and national attention a number of important emerging, established and, at times, controversial artists and photographers. Today Paul Cava continues to work by appointment specializing in fine photography from the 19th through the 21st century. Member of AIPAD (The Association of International Photography Art Dealers)

C. Grimaldis Gallery has continuously operated in Baltimore since 1977. It has established itself as Baltimore’s oldest contemporary art gallery, and an important venue in the region. The gallery specializes in postwar American and European art with an emphasis on contemporary sculpture.

Galerie BMG, located in the historic art colony of Woodstock NY, specializes in contemporary fine art photography. We showcase the work of both established and emerging artists from around the country as well as from the local area. In addition to photographers represented on an ongoing basis, the gallery hosts monthly exhibitions of guest artists, whose work fits within our aesthetic vision while displaying a variety of styles and approaches. Originally opened in 1997 as Art & Soul, the gallery changed ownership in 2004 and is now under the direction of Woodstock photographer Bernard Gerson. In the spring of 2005, it re-opened with an enhanced exhibition space and the new name of Galerie BMG.

Berkeley Art Center (BAC) serves the diverse and creative citizens of this unique regional area, through the presentation of visual art exhibitions and related programs that are relevant, engaging, and inspiring.

The Kala Gallery is a light filled 2,200 square foot exhibition space. The gallery presents approximately six exhibitions each year in a wide range of media by both emerging and recognized artists. Two of the exhibitions feature new works by Kala Fellowship artists and Artist-in-Residence working in print, digital media, video, installation, performance, photography and book arts. The remainder of Kala’s annual programming focuses on curated exhibitions assembled around a unifying theme, process or media.

Santa Bannon Fine Art is a contemporary art gallery, fine art advisory and consulting firm, art broker/dealer, and independent curator. Our gallery primarily features the work of world renown Pennsylvania artists, ArtsQuest’s glass studio, and we curate rotating exhibits in all mediums. We offer consulting in all the visual arts; from photography, art glass, new media, and installation to sculpture, painting, collage, and fine ceramics. Anthony Brunelli Fine Arts opened in November of 2003. It is located in downtown Binghamton on the first two floors at 186 State Street. The opening of the gallery was a natural extension of my passion for the revitalization of Downtown Binghamton. Within the first few years, the gallery’s scope was growing exponentially with internationally recognized exhibitions that were bringing the art world and media to our doorstep. At the time, my brother John had recently moved back to Binghamton after working for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. In 2005, John took over the directorship of the gallery. It was a timely transition as I needed to return to my easel, and John had built the experience, knowledge and connections needed to take over the responsibilities of directing the space. John continues to expand the scope of our gallery with world-class exhibitions. Since I am a photo-realist painter represented by the Louis K. Meisel gallery in NYC, the focus of the gallery is the presentation of the best contemporary realist art. Many established as well as emerging and mid-career artists are represented. The gallery is not limited to just realist work. It shows well-disciplined, contemporary abstract works as well as photography and sculpture. The emphasis is almost always on fine craftsmanship, innovation and quality, giving our clients and visitors superior works of art to experience and consider for their own collections.

Pictura is located in downtown Bloomington, Indiana with works available for purchase by contemporary artists from around the world.

Pictura Gallery specializes in contemporary fine art photography with a focus on color imagery with a strong formal sensibility and narrative. Additionally, the gallery serves as an educational resource for Indiana University and the community through artist and curatorial talks.

Martha and David Moore opened Pictura Gallery in April of 2008, with hopes to engage and enhance the photography community in Bloomington. Over the years, their dream to make art more collaborative and accessible has grown, and in 2018, they created the FAR Center for Contemporary Arts. The Center is the result of their passion and commitment to make a space where people from all backgrounds and artistic inclinations can come together.

The Turchin Center for the Visual Arts fulfills Appalachian State University's long-held mission of providing a home for world-class visual arts programming. The center is the largest facility of its kind in western North Carolina, eastern Tennessee and southwestern Virginia, and is named for university benefactors Robert and Lillian Turchin. Featuring two wings of exhibition and support space and the Arnold P. Rosen Family Education Wing, the center is located on King Street in the heart of downtown Boone, North Carolina.

The Turchin Center's exhibitions focus on a blend of new and historically important artwork and feature works of nationally and internationally renowned artists, as well as many of the finest artists of the region. However, the Turchin Center is more than a facility devoted solely to the viewing of art. With its multi-faceted programs the center is a dynamic, living, breathing presence in the Appalachian community, creating opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to experience the power and excitement of the visual arts.

The Turchin Center is a department of Appalachian State University and is housed in the Office of University Communications and Cultural Affairs. The university has a long history of recognizing the importance of and supporting the arts, but we also depend on community support—through participation, memberships, and donations. To provide increased accessibility for the Appalachian community, the center is free and open to the public.

To provide our visitors with broader and more lasting experiences, the ICA made the pivotal decision in 2000 to start collecting. The core of the museum's collection is work by contemporary artists featured in ICA exhibitions, many at seminal moments in their careers. A diverse overview of national and international artworks in a range of styles and media, the collection represents the very best art being made today and provides an important resource for contemporary culture in Boston. The ICA welcomes a rotation in its permanent collection, now with an added emphasis on photography and portraiture.

Panopticon Gallery, (est. 1971) is one of the oldest fine art photography galleries in the United States specializing in contemporary, modern and vintage photography. We represent established and emerging photographers with a primary focus on developing and expanding their careers. The gallery regularly assists collectors in buying, selling and locating photographs and supports local educational institutions, regional art museums and estates. Panopticon Gallery is located inside the Hotel Commonwealth in Boston, Massachusetts.

Jason Landry brings over twenty years of business management and photography experience to the gallery. Prior to taking over the gallery in early 2010, he worked at the Photographic Resource Center at Boston University in various capacities and was a member of their Board of Directors. In keeping with the galleries core focus, Landry regularly attends portfolio review events and photography art fairs both nationally and internationally, has juried group exhibitions, and has lectured at regional and national art colleges and universities.

Gallery Kayafas is not currently conducting portfolio reviews or accepting new artists. However, visit the Project Gallery section of our website for the opportunity to be featured. Project Gallery is a physical & online exhibition space for artists we feel merit attention. This extension of the gallery was established to give a greater visibility to artists without representation.

The Robert Klein Gallery was established in 1980 and ranks among the world's most prestigious showrooms of fine art photography. Robert Klein opened his Newbury Street space with early exhibitions of Diane Arbus, Annie Leibovitz, Sally Mann, and Hiroshi Sugimoto. From 1995 through 2008, Robert served as President of the Board of Directors of the Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD). During his tenure, Robert engineered the 2006 expansion of The AIPAD Photography Show New York to the Park Avenue Armory. The AIPAD Photography Show's move firmly established it as one of the leading photographic fairs in the world. Robert continues to serve on AIPAD's Board of Directors. The Robert Klein Gallery maintains an extensive and ever-changing inventory of 19th century, 20th century, and contemporary photographs. Participating in international art fairs such as Paris Photo, Art Miami, and The AIPAD Photography Show in New York, the Robert Klein Gallery provides its contemporary artists with international exposure while exhibiting works by recognized masters such as Ansel Adams, Helen Levitt, and Irving Penn. With 40 combined years of experience and a profound knowledge base, the gallery staff is committed to serving as a resource for both novice and seasoned collectors.

The Photographic Resource Center (PRC) is a vital forum for the exploration, interpretation, and celebration of new work, ideas, and methods in photography. We inspire our members and the broader community with thought-provoking exhibits, educational programs, and resources that support the advancement of the photographic arts.

New England's Center for Photography Founded in 1976, the Photographic Resource Center (PRC) is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located on the campus of Boston University. Cited by the Boston Globe as "one-stop shopping for the photo buff," the PRC provides its members and the general public with thought-provoking exhibitions; distinctive education programs; wide-ranging resources; and unique special events.

UFORGE Gallery’s mission is to foster creativity by facilitating diverse and affordable project assignment based, non-juried (open door) art exhibitions; to provide a venue to exhibit these works; to cultivate both a collaborative and inclusive arts community at large through educational workshops and special events.,br>
Forged within the heart of the artistic community Jamaica Plain, the UFORGE Gallery is an all inclusive fine art gallery in Boston. UFORGE launched in 2011 by Boston artists, Brian Crete (painter) and Rob Festa (photographer) with the belief that everyone has the right to show their creativity without worrying about cost or having an “expert” artistic ability. UFORGE began as a locally grown concept in 2010: dedicating a space within the community that allows artists to create new artwork and grow beyond their artistic comfort zones.

Tepper Takayama Fine Arts specializes in post World War II through 21st century photography, including documentary, narrative, conceptual, semi-abstract and abstract imagery. The gallery collaborates with an international roster of photographers representing a variety of techniques ranging from traditional platinum and gelatin silver prints, mixed media and digitally processed works. Services include curatorial and collections assistance, multilingual consulting and research assistance in English, French, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish as well as writing, translating and editing of art-related descriptive and critical material. A selection of hard to find books by or about gallery artists is available.

Krakow Witkin Gallery began exhibiting artists in 1959 and has been in its 10 Newbury Street Boston location since 1983. The gallery’s prior incarnations are Barbara Krakow Gallery, Harcus Krakow Gallery, Harcus Krakow Rosen Sonnabend, Parker 470 and Carriage House Gallery.

Krakow Witkin Gallery has a commitment to an extensive, yet focused group of artists known as part of the movements commonly called “Minimalism” and/or “conceptual art,” along with younger artists who have come to renown since the 1960s with reductivist aesthetics. The gallery’s exhibition program runs three shows simultaneously with six to seven rotations over the course of the September – July season. During each cycle, there is one larger show, one smaller show and one show of a single work. This juxtaposition of types of exhibition gives viewers three different rigorous contexts with which to view work and consider various ideas of presentation.

We are available to assist the public in many ways – from discussing the art, to issues of evaluation, purchasing (the gallery has a deep inventory of art available for purchase from $1,200 and beyond), framing, shipping, insuring, installing, conserving and even de-accessioning (selling). Miller Yezerski Gallery is one of the most highly respected contemporary art galleries in Boston, MA with decades of experience in the art market. The gallery is located in a premier space in the SoWA section of the South End and is the joint venture of longtime gallerists Ellen Miller and Howard Yezerski. Opened in 2016, The Leica Gallery Boston strives to bring world-class art to the residents and visitors of Boston, following Leica's long tradition of excellence and commitment to quality in cameras, lenses, and photojournalism. By curating exhibits from world-famous photographers and hosting special engagements with featured artists, as well as offering the immensely popular Leica Akademie workshops for one-of-a-kind, immersive experiences, Leica Gallery Boston provides unique and eye-opening programming to further this mission.

The Emerson's mission is to build community by promoting art and culture, set in a historic building.

In 1998 photographer Eric Slayton founded the Flat Street Studio and Gallery in Brattleboro, Vermont as a space for adult photography instruction and gallery exhibition. Flat Street Gallery became a non-profit organization in 2001, and has since restructured under the name Vermont Center for Photography (VCP.)

The Center is now an integral part of downtown Brattleboro’s vibrant art scene and is a popular stop on its monthly Gallery Walk, celebrated as one of the best art venues in Vermont.

In addition to hosting a new feature exhibit each month with an average of 200 visitors on opening night, VCP offers ongoing workshops, professional darkroom rental, exhibiting artist talks, and monthly portfolio critiques, among other regularly scheduled events.
The relocation of the In-Sight Photography Project, Brattleboro’s highly acclaimed youth-oriented photo program, to the space next door, helps make VCP an even greater force for promoting the art and craft of photography in southern Vermont.

Founded in 2011, the Bronx Documentary Center (BDC) is a non-profit gallery and educational space devoted to documentary projects from around the globe. Located on the ground floor of a recently revitalized building in the South Bronx, the BDC aims to create an engaging environment for local and international photojournalists, artists, filmmakers, critics and educators committed to innovative methods of non-fiction storytelling.

The Klompching Gallery was established in Dumbo, Brooklyn in September 2007. 440 Gallery is a small artist run collective in Park Slope Brooklyn, NY dedicated to the exhibition and sale of artwork. The artists in the collective represent a broad spectrum of styles and media including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, assemblage, and installation. The gallery also invites artists and curators from outside the collective for seasonal group shows. The goal is to facilitate a lively exchange, both within the neighborhood, and the artistic community at large.

Transmitter is a collaborative curatorial initiative based out of Brooklyn New York, focusing on programming that is multidisciplinary, international and experimental. The Gallery was founded in 2014 by Rob de Oude, Carl Gunhouse, Sara Jones, Rod Malin, Tom Marquet and Mel Prest. In 2015 Jen Hitchings joined the curatorial team. YellowKorner was created in 2006 by two friends, Alexandre de Metz and Paul-Antoine Briat, both lovers of photography from a young age. The YellowKorner concept is very simple: to introduce the greatest photographers from all over the world and to increase the number of copies of their work to make it accessible to as many collectors as possible. So, instead of offering 10 prints at £5,000, YellowKorner chooses to publish 500 at £100. With galleries in Europe and in the United States, YellowKorner presents a wide panorama of contemporary photography worldwide. Each of the galleries responds to the primary demand of YellowKorner's founders: to make these exhibition spaces a place for the public and artists to meet and exchange ideas, places of culture. The Vision Gallery is a cultural center in Downtown Chandler, a place where art is integrated into our community. Catherine Edelman Gallery opened in 1987 quickly establishing itself as one of the leading galleries in the Midwest devoted exclusively to the art of photography. Recent shows at the gallery include a major exhibition, Killer Shots: A Photographic Response to War, curated in 2003 by Catherine Edelman as a response to the war in Iraq. The show featured 34 photographers and showcased photographs from numerous conflicts starting with Vietnam and moving to the present. The exhibit traveled to Indiana University Art Gallery and San Francisco Camerawork. In 2001, Edelman curated Others Among Us: Works of the Amish, Hutterites & Mennonites, featuring work by Kristin Capp, George Tice, Larry Towell & Laura Wilson. The show debuted in Chicago and traveled to The Cedar Rapids Museum of Art in Iowa. Stephen Daiter Gallery offers fine and vintage examples of important American and European photography from the 20th century. After seven years in Seattle and a growing reputation garnered at art fairs around the globe, Mariane Ibrahim is closing her namesake gallery in the Pacific Northwest and planning a move to Chicago, where she hopes to be in operation by the end of 2019.

The move follows a formative period during which Ibrahim’s star has risen as interest in African art has intensified. With a roster of artists from the continent and beyond, she has been an active player in the globetrotting realm of art fairs, with presentations at the 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair in London, Untitled Miami, Frieze New York, Art Dubai, and Zona Maco in Mexico City, among many more. In 2017, she won the first Presents Booth Prize at New York’s Armory Show, for a presentation of work by Zohra Opoku, an artist of German and Ghanaian descent based in Accra. At this year’s Armory Show, she will present the Haitian artist Florine Demosthene, and her booth at Frieze New York will feature Thenjiwe Niki Nkosi from South Africa.

Rhona Hoffman Gallery, founded originally as Young Hoffman Gallery in 1976, specializes in international contemporary art in all medias, and art that is conceptually, formally, or socio-politically based. Founded in 1956, the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts makes project-based grants to individuals and organizations and produces public programs to foster the development and exchange of diverse and challenging ideas about architecture and its role in the arts, culture, and society.

Perspective Group and Photography Gallery is a not-for-profit, community-oriented cooperative whose purpose is to promote fine art photography. The Gage Gallery at Roosevelt University is Chicago's premier space for showcasing contemporary critical social photo-documentary (Newcity Art). Founded in 1996, ArtWorks is a non-profit arts organization that empowers and inspires the creative community to transform our everyday environments through employment, apprenticeships, education, community partnerships, and civic engagement.
1996 marked the inaugural ArtWorks Summer Program, a job training and employment program in the arts for talented Greater Cincinnati area teenagers.
The ArtWorks Summer Program hires youth aged 14 - 21 to work with professional artists to make innovative public art to enrich the Greater Cincinnati community.
Since 1996, ArtWorks has employed over 2,500 area youth and 500 professional artists to create over 300 public works of art throughout Greater Cincinnati.
Hired teenagers, on average, come from as many as three states, 60 zip codes, 67 schools, and 75 neighborhoods. Ethnic makeup on average is 37% African American, 6% Other, 4% Asian, 1% Latino and 52% Caucasian. (Each program year the demographics shift slightly, but remain fairly consistent with the above composition.)
Notable ArtWorks public art projects include The Outdoor Museum, Mirror Lake at Eden Park, Queen City Art Racks, Scoop City Art and, of course, The Big Pig Gig.

The Clifton Cultural Arts Center was first imagined in 2004 after a series of community engagement meetings addressed the fate of two key historic buildings – the 1906 Clifton School and the adjacent McDonald Estate Carriage House – both scheduled to fall into disuse in 2008 as a result of imminent initiatives included in the Cincinnati Public Schools Master Plan.
A seed was sown – and the CCAC is the outgrowth of that idea: that participation in cultural and artistic activities contributes to more cohesive communities and more successful, more inspired children and adults.

Manifest is non-profit arts organization located in the Cincinnati neighborhoods of East Walnut Hills and Madisonville. The organization was created by students and professors looking to increase expectations of excellence in the artistic world, and is composed of four aspects: Gallery, Press, Drawing Center, and Artist Residency.
Manifest works heavily with photography in specialized exhibits during the city-wide FotoFocus biennial and in one of its four annual award-winning publications, the International Photography Annual (INPHA). Photography is regularly exhibited within its themed shows that occur within nine exhibit periods during the year.
In its gallery and publications Manifest has exhibited works by 1,502 artists from 49 states and 39 countries across ten seasons. In 2013 Manifest expanded its galleries by sixty-six percent resulting in a suite of five museum-quality spaces devoted to the ongoing display of works from around the world.

Combining a landmark historical building with a contemporary minimalist addition, the Transformer Station is a new anchor destination in Cleveland's rapidly evolving Ohio City neighborhood. The project brings a new cultural facility to a mixed residential and industrial neighborhood within walking distance of the restaurants and shops of the Market District and blocks away from the Gordon Square Arts District.

Our organization is a non-profit community darkroom, educational center, studio workspace, and photographic gallery located in the Quadrangle arts district in the St. Clair/Superior neighborhood in Cleveland, Ohio. Housed on the first floor of the historic ArtCraft Building, Cleveland Print Room offers a place to process 20th century emulsion-based film and analog photography collectively with others who share a passion for the photographic arts. Since photography is a huge part of everyday life, we have a shared desire to partner with the photographic community, the arts community, and the education community.
Our programs include educational workshops and classes in photographic arts with a focus on using outdated photographic processes, along with exploring interesting modes of analog processing. We offer affordable community darkroom services, studio workspace and exhibition opportunities for students, amateurs, and professional photographers. The I.D.E.A. program is committed to supporting a culture of learning and exploration both at Colorado College and within Colorado Springs and the Rocky Mountain region by bringing innovative arts exhibitions and experiences to southern Colorado. Located in the Edith Kinney Gaylord Cornerstone Arts Center, the I.D.E.A. Space is the home base for Colorado College’s InterDisciplinary Experimental Arts program. A natural outgrowth of Colorado College’s liberal arts philosophy, I.D.E.A. supports Colorado College’s mission to “provide a variety of stimulating environments for intellectual development, creative expression, and personal growth” and extends that mission to encompass the larger community. The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center was established in 1936, when the John Gaw Meem building debuted. Martha Graham danced on our stage at the first grand opening; Frank Lloyd Wright lectured in our hall. The building is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. The Fine Arts Center was the first facility of its kind west of the Mississippi to offer arts education, theatre and a museum under one roof.

The Wexner Center for the Arts is The Ohio State University's multidisciplinary, international laboratory for the exploration and advancement of contemporary art. Tucked away on a side street in the heart of Coral Gables' restaurant district is South Florida's longest-established contemporary fine art gallery. Its low-key exterior belies its outstanding exhibitions since 1974, which have earned such accolades as a full-page testimonial in ARTnews magazine and inspired Lear's to christen owner-director Virginia Miller as "the undisputed doyenne of Miami art dealers." Extensive selection includes paintings, sculpture and works on paper by emerging, mid-career and historically important international artists with an emphasis on Latin American and Chinese art, along with 20th and 21st century masters. The Carnegie Visual and Performing Arts Center is a multidisciplinary arts venue for all ages which provides theatre events, educational programs and art exhibitions to the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati community. The Carnegie facility reflects its threefold nature: within its 17,000 square foot facility are The Carnegie Galleries, crowned by a landmark Beaux Arts dome; the magnificent, newly renovated Otto M. Budig Theatre; and the Eva G. Farris Education center. The Carnegie is the largest arts venue in Northern Kentucky.

Photographs Do Not Bend Gallery is an art gallery dedicated to photo-based art. We are now located in the Design District of Dallas, at 1202 Dragon Street. The gallery opened its original Uptown location in 1995. The move to Dragon Street took place in the summer of 2006. Artists exhibited ranged from the early 20th Century to the present. Our gallery stable includes regional, national and internationally recognized artists.

Dallas Center for Photography occupies a custom designed 6000 sq. ft. building near the Dallas Design District. It includes a dedicated 900 sq. ft. classroom, a large darkroom equipped for up to 10 people to print at once, an 1800 sq. ft. gallery and shooting space, staff offices and, unique to the area, has plenty of parking!

The Van Every/Smith Galleries play a fundamental role in the life of Davidson College. The Galleries provide a challenging forum for the presentation, interpretation, and discussion of primarily contemporary artworks in all media for students and members of the Davidson community, as well as for national and international visitors to the campus. An ongoing series of exhibitions and lectures by visiting artists and scholars nurture individual thinking, develop visual literacy, and inspire a lifelong commitment to the arts.

In 1989 the Robert & Elaine Stein Galleries became a collecting institution and adopted a collecting policy focused on works of art created post-1967 and Western in origin. This year was selected not only because Wright State University was founded in 1967, but it also marks a period of political and artistic turmoil, the aftermath of which caused significant changes in contemporary art. With the help of an NEA Purchase Plan grant and local private donors, the Galleries have grown an impressive contemporary collection of over 450 pieces that include names such as Jim Dine, Robert Rauschenberg, Cindy Sherman, Jeff Koons, Chuck Close, and Lucien Freud. In 2008 the Robert & Elaine Stein Galleries received a gift of over 100 Polaroids and 50 gelatin silver prints from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts as part of its Andy Warhol Photographic Legacy Program. The program gave 28,543 photos to 183 colleges and universities around the country. This gift provides the Dayton area public with unprecedented access to the unique photographic works of Andy Warhol.

The Center for Visual Art (CVA) is the off-campus art gallery of Metropolitan State University of Denver. In addition to showing significant contemporary art, the award-winning CVA serves as an interactive art laboratory for MSU Denver students and the larger community. The CVA was founded in 1990 to expose students to leading-edge art and to broaden MSU Denver’s art program. The non-profit art space makes an important contribution to visual art offerings available in Denver and the Rocky Mountain West, bringing in art that would not otherwise be seen here.

The not-for-profit Des Moines Art Center engages diverse local and international audiences with the art of today through its museum and school, adding to the cultural record through collections and programs.

The Detroit Center for Contemporary Photography (DCCP) is a non-profit, 501 c3, organization that brings together a community of people interested in photography and lens-based media. Its mission is to foster the appreciation and understanding of photography by promoting contemporary lens-based artists. DCCP works to encourage creative discourse and a visual understanding of the still and moving frame by offering online and pop-up exhibitions, print publications, and portfolio reviews. DCCP seeks to broaden its outreach among Detroit’s diverse communities through exhibitions and programming in collaboration with local institutions.

In its efforts to provide innovative means of representing contemporary and unique work DCCP has moved its galleries online. The Collection, New Directions, and Frame/s are continually updated and aim to highlight the work of emerging lens-based artists. By embracing developments in digital media DCCP will continue to function as a vital cultural resource that extends beyond Detroit’s city limit.

Originally located in downtown Pontiac, DCCP was founded in 2010 as a, member-run, visual artist organization. The original governing board included physicians, lawyers, educators, photographers, and gallery owners. DCCP continues to embrace these cross-professional collaborations in its current form online and in print publications as a means of expanding not only its audience, but also the resources provided to its community.

The Art League's Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery hosts about a dozen exhibits per year in its spacious bi-level atrium style gallery. The gallery is open to the public Monday through Thursday from 9am - 9pm, Fridays 9am - 4pm, on weekends from 11am - 4pm, and is there is no admission charge.

The exhibitions program at the Center for Documentary Studies (CDS) presents images, documents, sound, and written experiences in four galleries, bringing to light telling details and resonant moments in everyday life that might otherwise go unnoticed. CDS exhibitions connect people to those moments, and to a larger story. Serving as a community forum for documentary work, the galleries make the documentary arts accessible to a general audience and present experiences that inform, heighten our historical and cultural awareness, create discourse, foster understanding, and confront traditional views of “others.”

The Juanita Kreps Gallery, established in 1994 and located on the first floor of our renovated turn-of-the-century house, hosts three to four exhibitions annually. The changing exhibits reflect the work of documentary artists who have spent significant periods of time observing and recording diverse cultures in the United States and the world. Recent exhibitions have included Full Color Depression: First Kodachromes from America’s Heartland, color photographs taken by the Library of Congress’s Farm Security Administration (FSA) team; a video installation by filmmaker Laura Poitras, O’ Say Can You See, a stirring meditation on loss and revenge in the aftermath of 9/11; and Unsung Heroes, William Earle Williams’s powerful black-and-white photographs of places where black soldiers trained, fought, and lost their lives in the Civil War. The Juanita Kreps Gallery is committed to introducing new documentary work to audiences as well as supporting the work of established artists.

The Lyndhurst Gallery, established in 2001, is used both to expand the space of the Kreps Gallery and to present smaller exhibits in conversation with those in the Kreps. Exhibitions have included Reciprocity, an exhibition of Cedric Chatterly’s handmade large-format cameras; Disfarmer: Photographs from the Studio of Mike Disfarmer, Heber Springs, Arkansas 1939-1946; and Walker Evans at 100, digital translations of some of Evans’s best-known works in celebration of the 100th anniversary of his birth.??

The Porch Gallery, established in 1998, is an intimate viewing space with natural light located on the first floor of CDS's Bridges Building. Originally used for work growing out of CDS programs, now a much wider range of work is presented there. Recent exhibitions include Sparkle & Twang: An American Musical Odyssey, with photographs by Marty Stuart, and work by winners of the 2011 Daylight/CDS Photo Awards.

The University Gallery—located on the ground floor of the Bridges Building, in close proximity to the CDS auditorium—was established in 2004 as a dedicated space for presenting the work of Documentary Studies students and faculty, and other documentarians associated with Duke University. Exhibitions presented in this gallery have included selected prints from There Is No Eye, photographs by John Cohen, the Lehman Brady Joint Chair Professor in Documentary Studies and American Studies at Duke and UNC–Chapel Hill in Spring 2004; Scenes of Secrecy: Visual Studies on Suspicion, Intelligence, and Security, including work by Trevor Paglen and William Noland; and Mr. Green’s Barbershop, a photo-essay by Jeremy M. Lange.

Pace is a leading contemporary art gallery representing many of the most significant international artists and estates of the 20th and 21st centuries. Founded by Arne Glimcher in Boston in 1960 and led by Marc Glimcher, Pace has been a constant, vital force in the art world and has introduced many renowned artists’ work to the public for the first time. Over the past five decades, the gallery has mounted more than 700 exhibitions, including scholarly shows that have subsequently travelled to museums, and has published nearly 400 exhibition catalogues. The John B. ArtSpace Herndon is a community art gallery created and supported by art lovers in the greater Herndon area providing opportunities for local artists and photographers to exhibit their art, teach classes, and offer workshops. As a gathering place celebrating the arts, ArtSpace Herndon is also a showcase for performers. ArtSpace Herndon is attracting artists and performers at local, national, and international levels.

ArtSpace Herndon, located in historic downtown Herndon, features a 1,700 square foot Post Gallery where eight to ten new visual art shows exhibit each year. A reception held during each exhibit provides the public with an opportunity to meet the artists. Each year ArtSpace Herndon hosts several art competitions: Fine Art Photography, Portraits, and Herndon Town Calendar.

The Department of Art and Art History includes two galleries that serve the University of Hawai'i's diverse academic community - the University of Hawai'i Art Gallery and the Commons Gallery. The galleries aim to serve as laboratories for the critical exploration of ideas about historical and contemporary art, design, culture, and society; and as a forum for multidisciplinary collaborations reflecting the Department's and University's mission; and contribute to the cultural life of the region.

Exhibitions are periodically supported by catalogs. Programming for exhibitions includes lectures by artists and scholars, symposia, films, and tours. Annually 50,000 people visit the Gallery and participate in its public programs. Additionally, the Gallery organizes traveling exhibitions, many of which have been presented at more than 100 museums in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, and Guam.

The Commons Galleryrotates smaller exhibitions on a weekly basis and acts a laboratory for students and faculty to experiment with exhibition design and practices of display. Curators, gallery staff, graduate students, faculty, and visiting artists work in conjunction with undergraduate students in courses like Exhibition Design and Gallery Management (ART 360) to undertake exhibition planning from start to finish. The result is a dynamic and varied exhibition program created by students and faculty for the University of Hawai‘i academic community.

Houston Center for Photography brings together a community of people interested in photography and lens-based work. HCP is always free and open to the public. Founded in 1981, HCP is a nonprofit organization offering year-round exhibitions, workshops, publications, outreach programs, lectures, classes, and home to an on-site library housing more than 2,500 books on photography as well as a state of the art digital darkroom.

UNIX Gallery was founded in 2008 in Miami with a distinctive focus on the primary contemporary art market and in 2013 expanded with a location in New York. Representing an international group of established and emerging artists, the gallery stimulates the careers of artists with compelling, unique visions who utilize exquisite artistic execution.

The primary goal of the Deborah Colton Gallery is the creation of a continually evolving innovative showcase for the ongoing presentation and international promotion of strong historical and visionary contemporary artists worldwide. While living in Asia for eight years, Deborah Colton's first emanation was a virtual gallery, starting in 1998, whose main focus was to create an awareness and appreciation for the multi-media talents of artists from Thailand, Japan, China and throughout Asia.

Moving to Houston in 2000 after living in Tokyo and Bangkok, Deborah Colton first curated and presented several public space exhibitions in conjunction with many prestigious art non-profits both from the United States and Asia. The Deborah Colton Gallery opened FotoFest of 2004 and since then has been continually presenting significant national and international contemporary art exhibitions. As part of the Gallery's continued aspiration to provide a visual forum which connects both national and international artists to create an awareness and help make positive social change, the Deborah Colton Gallery has focused on many key cities, including having been an exhibitor in the first Art Fair in Abu Dhabi in November of 2007. In 2008 Deborah Colton Gallery debuted the exhibition titled Qatar Narratives consisting of contemporary artists from Qatar in conjunction with Consular Forum 2008, honoring the Kingdom of Qatar. In 2009 the Gallery similarly honored Spain and in 2010, Mexico. During FotoFest 2012, the Deborah Colton Gallery focused on Russia, which included important exhibitions on both Olga Tobreluts and Oleg Dou. This emphasis encompasses a wider scope for the expansion of the diversities of international artists and concerns.

In addition to the Gallery's stable of artists, Deborah Colton Gallery provides consultative services both nationally and internationally to individuals, corporations and institutions so they can start to acquire specific works through a comprehensive program of collecting. Exhibitions highlight only the most provocative and relevant contemporary artists, whose diverse practices include paintings, works on paper, sculpture, video, photography, performance, conceptual future media and public space installations.

FotoFest® created the first international Biennial of Photography and Photo-related Art in the United States. FotoFest® is an international non-profit photographic arts and education organization based in Houston, Texas. FotoFest's purpose is to promote the exchange of art and ideas through international programs and the presentation of photographic art. Our programs work globally and locally, bringing together an international vision of art and cross-cultural exchange with a commitment to community involvement and the enrichment of Houston's cultural resources. In addition to its internationally known Biennial, FotoFest sponsors Inter-Biennial programs - exhibitions, international exchange programs, and publications. In grades 3-12, FotoFest operates a year-round classroom education program, Literacy Through Photography, using photography to strengthen writing skills, visual literacy, and cognitive learning.

It is with great excitement that we announce our name change from John Cleary Gallery to Catherine Couturier Gallery. In the last four years, the gallery has evolved to embrace both that which John Cleary and I both loved (mid-century French street photography and portraits of children, to name two) and more contemporary art that was always my area of expertise. The range of work represented is broader, and my eye is apparent on every wall and in every bin. In Fall 2022, SEFA moved its city location to downtown, joining the dynamic community of the LES art scene. Fotofoto gallery was founded in October 2003 by a group of Long Island based photogaphers desiring to promote experimental and traditional photographic processes and visions. In 2010, fotofoto was awarded status as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Since its opening in April, 1992, the Anderson Arts Center has welcomed thousands of visitors. The 9,000 square foot mansion that houses the Arts Center began life as a private residence, a fact that still fascinates new visitors to the facility. Datuna Art Space was built to be part of the cultural fabric of Long Island City, welcoming walk-ins and presenting a program of community-focused events. The center is scheduled to present up to six shows per year. Datuna's goal was to create a space that pushes the boundaries of conceptual art by providing a home for nontraditional endeavors. In our current social and political landscape, the aim is to showcase the common denominator, our shared humanity, through art. Digital art defines the contemporary. The Los Angeles Center For Digital Art is dedicated to the propagation of all forms of digital art, new media, digital video art, net art, digital sculpture, interactive multimedia, and the vast panorama of hybrid forms of art and technology that constitute our moment in culture. We are committed to supporting local, international, emerging and established artists through exposure in our gallery. We have an ongoing schedule of exhibits and competitions, produce editions of wide format archival prints, and collaborate in the production of digital artworks in our studio. The gallery was established in 1991 as Turner/Krull Gallery in West Hollywood. During the gallery’s three years on Melrose Avenue, the program was exclusively photo-based.

The inaugural exhibition, “Photographing L.A. Architecture,” demonstrated Krull’s interest in the cultural history of Southern California and also marked the beginning of his representation of noted L.A. artists such as Julius Shulman, James Fee, and Edmund Teske. Curatorial projects included, “Action/Performance and the Photograph,” a group exhibition examining the relationship of still photography to performance art.

In 1994, Craig Krull became one of the founding galleries at the new Bergamot Station Art Center. Since that time, the gallery has expanded its scope and it now represents major Southern California painters and sculptors such as Peter Alexander, Dennis Hopper, Llyn Foulkes, Astrid Preston, Dan McCleary and Don Bachardy. Sharing the poet Gary Snyder’s belief that, “our place is part of what we are,” the gallery is characterized by “place oriented” work, that which demonstrates a relationship between the artist and their environment or cultural milieu. Curatorial efforts reflecting this interest included, “Photographing the L.A. Art Scene: 1955-1975,” which explored that seminal period in L.A. art history. The gallery has also re-introduced artists such as photographer Charles Brittin, an important chronicler of the Beat Generation and along with Walter Hopps, produced the first catalogue of Mr. Brittin’s work.

Luis De Jesus Los Angeles is a contemporary art gallery engaged in regional and global art discourse with a particular focus on intersectional diversity. The Robert Berman Gallery has been in business in Santa Monica, California since 1979. Shoshana Wayne Gallery opened in 1986 in Santa Monica in a historic building that once housed the iconic Beach Boys' Studio. Think Tank Gallery began as Think Tank Collective back in June of 2010, when four of their five founding members left the Brewery art colony to begin sculpting out their dream vision of what an artistic space could be. The Luckman Fine Arts Complex at Cal State LA stands at the gateway to the San Gabriel Valley. Patrons experience music, dance, theatre, visual arts, and film in a lovely, relaxed setting. Easily accessible from the 10 and 710 freeways, or from the Pasadena area via surface streets. The Luckman Theatre seats 1,152 patrons and features one of the largest stages in Los Angeles. Contemporary art exhibitions in the Luckman Gallery have garnered national and international press attention. A small amphitheatre provides a stage area for concerts, catered receptions, and dancing on the Street of the Arts. The final component, the Intimate Theatre, a modular 300-seat theatre, had its inaugural performance on November 18, 2004.

PhotoMidwest was founded in 1998 as the Center for Photography at Madison to provide a home for photographic advancement in Madison and southern Wisconsin. Like many smaller institutions, the Southern Vermont Arts Center relies on the generosity of its supporters in order to build its permanent collection. We are fortunate in counting many such supporters among our members and friends, and each year we are pleased to add two or three fine works of art to the collection. The year 2007, however, was exceptional. Over the course of the year, the Arts Center received eight new pieces ranging from historic canvases by early member artists to the latest productions of contemporary painters and photographers.

Daniel Azoulay, gallery director, has been a member of the global art community for over thirty years. Schooled in the discipline of fine art photography, he was one of the leading fashion photographers for over twenty years working with clients ranging from Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar to Lily Rubin and Mikimoto, before retiring in the early 1990’s. In 2001, his passion for art inspired him to return to the art community full-time and open the Daniel Azoulay Gallery in a spectacular 1200 square foot space at 3900 N.E. 1st Avenue in Miami’s bustling Design District.

Occupying an expansive 13,000+ square-foot converted industrial complex in Miami's Little Haiti neighborhood. Yeelen Gallery sustains four exhibition spaces with a focus on figuration, realism, and social practice. By employing various media the Gallery is able to mount exhibitions of a dynamic and ambitious nature that reflect our contemporary society. Since its inception in 2008, the Gallery's aim has been to curate a program that is both a reflection of and an international voice for the local and national culture. By fostering relationships with its surrounding neighborhood that express the varied identities of the people within its cosmopolitan city, the Gallery has been able to promote artistic growth from the inside outward, pioneering exhibitions that enlighten the mind and expand our understanding of culture. Yeelen Gallery represents and defends an international group of pioneering artists whom retain independence and give a voice to the unheard.

David Castillo opened in 2005 under sole ownership after transforming a dilapidated warehouse in Miami, Florida into a 5,000 square foot gallery. In September 2014, the gallery relocated to the historic Albert Anis 420 Lincoln Road building in Miami Beach. David Castillo’s focus is on conceptual curatorial models as they relate to art historical, cultural, and personal investigations of identity. The gallery works with artists committed to the integrity of their individual histories and studio practices as agents of contemporary climate.

PhotoPlace Gallery's mission is to support contemporary fine art photography as a means of creative expression and cultural insight. PhotoPlace Gallery sponsors exhibition opportunities through international juried exhibits in Middlebury, Vermont, through our published exhibition catalogs, and on this website.

PhotoPlace Gallery is located in the oldest remaining residence in Middlebury, Vermont. Built in 1799 as a residence for the foreman of the water mill on Otter Creek, the sagging, hand-hewn beams and lumber from virgin forest bespeak its age — and its charm.

The Davison Art Center (DAC) holds Wesleyan's collection of more than 25,000 works of art on paper, chiefly prints and photographs. The print collection is among the finest at any U.S. university. The collection supports teaching and learning from objects in many ways, and the DAC gallery presents public exhibitions during the academic year. The Image Flow aims to celebrate photography in all its forms and to provide a platform for photographers of all levels to create work, exchange ideas, and to innovate the medium of photography. Our staff and instructors are deeply engaged with photographic practice in their daily lives and bring that same dedication to our space each day. We remain committed to making photography accessible to the community by providing public exhibitions, free lectures, workshops, rentals, and imaging services.

In 2008, Stuart Schwartz founded The Image Flow with one initial goal; to provide high-quality photographic printing services to Marin County – because, in the words of Stuart, “it’s not a photograph until it’s a print.” Since then, it has grown into a space to create, exhibit, discuss, and study all types of photographic expression, both digital and traditional. Based on the early feedback of some of our long-standing clients, we began offering workshops and classes, branching into the realm of photographic education. In 2011, we outgrew our original 1,100 square foot space and expanded into our current location, boasting 6,300 square feet of learning and production facilities. With this extra space came new creative opportunities; a gallery space exhibiting the work of national and international artists, a large natural light studio, dedicated classroom, traditional darkroom, and an alternative process darkroom has made The Image Flow a destination for photographers in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond – both seasoned and emerging. Today, our workshops and services continue to be in support of Stuart’s mantra, driving toward photography in print form. Whether you seek to achieve this goal in the darkroom or using digital images, we possess the tools and expertise needed to help bring your vision to life.

Seager Gray Gallery specializes in contemporary fine art with a focus on works that combine content with a mastery of materials. Included in their program is a specialty in book-related arts. Partners, Donna Seager and Suzanne Gray have established in Mill Valley a premier gallery that takes the stage in international fairs, garners critical review, and is recognized beyond the San Francisco Bay Area.

At Seager Gray Gallery, you will find the highest level of artistic expression in an atmosphere that is welcoming and informative, offering some of the best contemporary art on the West Coast. From our state-of-the-art digital lab, studio bays and spacious darkrooms to our member exhibition spaces, renowned Artist Talks, and numerous classes and workshops designed for all ages and covering all aspects of photography, Mpls Photo Center is here to challenge, encourage and inspire the photographer in all of us.

The Center was created and exists to foster community and enrichment opportunities among local and regional photography enthusiasts, including both amateur and professional photographers. We provide dedicated spaces - physical as well as online - to our members for use in their individual photographic pursuits, as well as in our shared desire to preserve, reinvigorate and enjoy traditional forms of photography while embracing technologies of the future in support of creativity and lifelong learning.

Center members meet, socialize, and share work both online via our interactive social media site and seven days a week in our many studio spaces, labs and wi-fi access. This combination of online interaction and real-world contact creates a real and powerful sense of community among members.

Praxis Gallery and Photographic Arts Center is a community based arts organization that aims to support the development of emerging and established photographers. Praxis Gallery provides solo and group show exhibition opportunities to local and international media artists. Praxis Photographic Arts Center offers a range of learning opportunities for beginning, intermediate and professional photographers through workshops and seminars. With an emphasis on creative expression and innovation, Praxis promotes photographic exhibitions and learning opportunities that inform, challenge and engage the individual artist, with an imperative on promoting the work of our artists to local and international audiences.

The School of Art's Gallery of Visual Arts presents professional contemporary exhibitions that serve the School, University at large, and the surrounding community with its interdisciplinary offerings. It is considered a teaching and professional research laboratory, and is one of the School of Art’s most visible forms of outreach. The exhibitions and presentations feature regional, national, and international artists, exhibitions of all B.F.A. senior thesis projects, all M.A. and M.F.A. thesis projects, an art faculty exhibition, and one juried art student exhibition annually.

The Prichard Art Gallery is an outreach facility of the University of Idaho College of Art and Architecture. Established in 1982, the gallery is located in downtown Moscow and serves the community and the university with a year-round schedule of exhibitions. The gallery hosts 9 to 11 exhibitions annually and provides the community with a full spectrum of the arts, including fine arts, architecture and landscape architecture. Ceramics, photography, glass art, fine craft, computer art, folk art, and installation art are exhibited along with the traditional arts, painting and sculpture.
The University of Idaho Prichard Art Gallery serves over 17,000 visitors annually, including approximately 2,200 students from area and regional schools. Through exhibition programming, outreach, and related educational programming, the gallery is dedicated to the cultural enrichment of the university community, the Palouse, the State of Idaho, and the Northwest region. The gallery's docent program conducts guided tours for elementary and secondary school students and the gallery provides a forum for lectures, presentations, and panel discussions.
The mission of the Prichard Art Gallery is to be a leader in the presentation of contemporary visual arts within the Northwest. The gallery programs will seek to encourage experimentation through the support presentation of new works by emerging and established artists. Through exhibitions, outreach, and related educational programming the gallery is dedicated to the cultural enrichment of the university community, the Palouse, the state of Idaho, and the Northwest region.
The gallery opened in its current location in the fall of 1987. It is the result of an extensive remodeling project. University of Idaho Associate Professor of Architecture William Bowler designed the gallery interior space and students of the Department of Architecture under his direction carried out the renovation during the summer. The University supports basic facilities fees as well as one full-time and one part-time staff position, while funding for exhibition programming and additional personnel is generated through student fees, grants, individual and corporate Memberships, and special events sponsored by the Prichard Art Gallery Advisory Board. In addition to a full-time director and part-time assistant, students from the University of Idaho staff the gallery. The gallery is open five days a week (including weekday evenings and Saturdays) and admission is free.
