Our 62nd printed issue of AAP Magazine will feature the best projects showcasing the theme: Travels. Reflect on your past or current adventures, expand our horizons from the four corners of the globe!
We are looking for your travel photographs, near and far, to the edge of the earth and to the places perhaps known only to you. Whether you're hauling around a view camera and a tripod or just pulling a mobile phone out of your back pocket, we want to see what you've captured and how you're telling your story.
There's a world out there to explore. Open your eyes to its landscapes, people, cultures - on your doorstep or 10,000 miles away. Expand our horizons!
All genres, capture types, color and B&W, traditional and non-traditional photographic and digital post-production processes are welcome for submission.
Please send us a cohesive body of work or portfolio. Only a unified group of photos will be published in AAP Magazine. Images that were previously published in AAP Magazine cannot be submitted again.
Winners will receive $1,000 in cash awards, their winning image(s) or full portfolio published in AAP Magazine Vol.53, extensive press coverage and global recognition.
All winners will have their work published in the 62nd printed issue of AAP Magazine, a free copy of the magazine and their portfolio showcased in the Winners Gallery of www.all-about-photo.com.
Applications will be assessed on three criteria: creativity, originality, and the visual/emotional impact of the image. The winners will be announced on All About Photo, our newsletter and social media.

Sandrine Hermand-Grisel
Photographer, Founder & Editor All About Photo
Sandrine Hermand-Grisel is a photographer, curator, and editor of All About Photo, an international platform dedicated to supporting photographers worldwide. Born in Paris, France, and raised between Paris and London, she moved to the United States in 2006, where she further developed her connection to the global photography community.
In 2013, she co-founded All About Photo with her husband, creating a space designed to give photographers greater visibility and exposure. More than a cultural guide, the platform has become a trusted resource for photographers and photography enthusiasts alike, featuring curated exhibitions, competitions, and editorial content.
A central part of the platform is the All About Photo Awards, which she has helped shape over the years in collaboration with renowned photographers and curators such as Liu Bolin, Ann Jastrab, Ed Kashi, Eli Klein, Jules Maeght, Aline Smithson, Ami Vitale, Stephen Vanfleteren, Sabine Weiss, Frank Horvat, Elizabeth Avedon, Laurent Baheux, Ian Berry, Claudine Doury, Denis Dailleux, Hiroshi Watanabe and many others. She has also served as a juror and curator for numerous international galleries and organizations.
Her own photographic work has been published in books and magazines and exhibited in galleries and museums internationally.
Today, while continuing her personal work, she focuses primarily on discovering and promoting emerging and established photographers through All About Photo. She is also the editor-in-chief of AAP Magazine, a publication dedicated exclusively to showcasing outstanding photographic portfolios.

How many photos can I enter?
- Up to 40 images. Photographs will be judged individually in a first round, and then as a unified group of photos as they could be published in AAP Magazine.
What is the cost of participation?
- Early Deadline Fees — valid through October 16, 2026 (inclusive): $30 (US Dollars) for the 3 first images. $5 (US Dollars) for each additional image.
- Regular Deadline Fees: $35 (US Dollars) for the 3 first images. $5 (US Dollars) for each additional image.
What is the schedule?
- Competition opens: October 3, 2026.
- Competition closes: November 10, 2026.
- Judging process starts: November 14, 2026.
- Judging process ends: December 15, 2026.
- Winners will be notified by email around January 1, 2026.
- The winning images will be available online at www.all-about-photo.com after January 1, 2026.
How do I send my images?
- If you have not already a profile on All About Photo, you have first to register on our website. Then you will be able to log in and to upload your photos in your gallery. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO EDIT YOUR SUBMISSION NOR TO ADD MORE IMAGES AFTER THE PAYMENT HAS BEEN PROCESSED. PLEASE REVIEW YOUR COMPLETED ENTRIES BEFORE PROCEEDING TO PAYMENT.
What size and format should I upload photos in?
- No Watermarks.
- Saved as JPEG or JPG.
- Resolution of 72 dpi.
- Grayscale or RGB profile.
- Layers must be flattened.
- Digital file should not exceed 2 MB.
- Longest dimension should not exceed 1,200 pixels, with a minimum size of 200 pixels.
What about copyright?
- All About Photo recognizes you, the author of the image, retain full ownership of the copyright in each Entry.
Who pays taxes?
- The winner is responsible for paying any taxes in his/her country.
