Two cones stand at the corner of a gray building in Lower Manhattan. Seeing them positioned like this brought an immediate smile and I instantly acknowledged the quiet visual humor. One stands upright and dutiful, the other leans just enough to peek around the edge of the building, as if keeping watch. A small, accidental scene that also felt oddly deliberate.
