Announcing the Winner of the Photographer of the Week – Week 47, 2025

Using aerial photography, I explore the delicate poetry of marine areas. By shifting perspective from the ground to the sky, I seek to reimagine the familiar. Marshes, salt flats, and tidal zones unfold into fluid compositions of light and texture. By juxtaposing altered and untouched landscapes, my work reflects the delicate equilibrium between creation and disruption, presence and absence, endurance and change. It is not documentary work, but a poetic journey, an invitation to look closer, to sense the quiet tension between humanity and nature, and to reflect on our shared responsibility for the environments that sustain us.
